We had a friendly welcome and became the bruschette, which we got in a missunderstood, for free. I took grilled vegetables which was a little portion, but tasty and after it, Fettucini with funghi porcini, what was really correct. My husband was not so amused with his Fettucini tartuffo, for the tartuffo was in the sauce and his Arrosticini (Lamb skews) with too much fat.

I had the mozzarella truffle starter, the Napoli pizza and the tiramisu. I was especially impressed with the pizza, and the accompanying wine was excellent. The price was very good, especially with the discount through the Fork. Very pleased!

Nice small place and very close to Pantheon. The owner was friendly and gave a good service in italian. Very chep prices! The food was a dissapointment, poor quality and it did not taste much. We where a big group of 10 people and we tried a lot of dishes. The meat where dry, overcocked pasta, low sesoning and not even the pizzas where good.

Zafferino offered us 50% off with the app, and their food was simply amazing. I ate the best Carbonara of my life, it was made by their chef that attended the Barilla(!) "school"! The place had mostly italian clients and not tourists, so it was genuine as it could be! Loved it!

While they were out of a couple of dishes that we wanted, I didn't mind. That is a hallmark of a quality restaurant that only uses fresh products. The service was great, the food was excellent. This was my second time there.

We had booked Zafferino’s through The Fork so everything (drinks included) would be 50% so we had a fabulous meal for a pittance. We were given gratis to start some slices of expensive parma ham (it is an art how it is sliced off & competitions are held in Spain for getting the thinnest slices). I started with veg. soup and my husband's garlic allergy was no problem with his 7 tarragon lamb (melt-in the mouth - on the bone) w/ fries and a nice house red wine (menu price only 12 euros for the bottle). I also ordered the lamb but mine came as small bits on skewers and were chewier. Still tasty & good and at 1/2 price with me having bottled water and a Coke Zero - our bill was only 28 euros! Although tipping isn’t done much in Italy, we had to give the fellow waiting on us a good tip (9 euros) since it was ridiculously cheap. Plus Zafferino is open for dinner at the time we like (5:30 PM) unlike so many other restaurants in Italy.

We had a salad and a pizza which were of considerable quality. Certainly not the best we ever had but well worth a recommendation.

We had the steak salad which was cooked exactly as I requested and the sheep dish. Both were excellent. Great food, exceptional service!

The patron himself took care of whole " show " and did it well. If You like small local restaurant, this one is good option.

Pizzas are not the best ones. But raviollis are really tasty. Prices are more moderate.
