Hostess was rude AF, walked in and said i had a reservation, she didn't understand or hear, walked us to a table, threw down the menu's and walked of before, had to ask the waitress, who was very nice if it was possible to still get another table. She talked to the hostess, who did give us another table, but no eye contact or words. To be honest, when paying i didn't get the chance to add a tip, so maybe they know the service sucks? Food was very good by the way!!!

If you’re a ramen connoisseur Wagamama is not the place for you. My Husband sent his back and we just settled to eat it because well we were hungry. Our 5 yr old played over his and he loves Ramen. Besides that, the service and atmosphere was awesome. The servers were attentive and the manager came out and talked to us about my husband not liking his ramen and replaced it with a different one. The chicken from the “sides” menu was great. We had two orders. All in all great place. :)

We have been coming to this Wagamama for years and last night was extremely disappointing . . . an all time low. The sparerib starter which used to be a delicious small bowl (but full) of crispy Teriyaki spareribs was a measly amount and they were undercooked, very fatty and not hot even (though I specifically asked for them to be served hot). The chili ramen with chicken was okay, at least you coudl find the chicken. Because the vegetarian noodle dish with mushrooms and vegetables had only a few slivers of mushrooms in it. The portion was also smaller than in the past. But worst of all was the dry tasteless brown rice dish with chicken and shrimp, which were almost nowhere to be found, and misc vegetables, but bits cut so small you needed a magnifying glass to find them. A big expensive bowl of bland rice. Yuck!!! And then the service: though it's a friendly and nice crew of kids, the right hand doesn't know waht the left hand is doing people don't really seem to be on the ball. All very tedious and tiring, especially when the food isn't making up for the waiting. Since noodles are all the rage these days in Amsterdam, it's probably time to find some other places to eat them and then there's always Chinatown for rice dishes or one of the great new poke bowl places. . Wagamama's glory days seem to have ended. it's truly a shame.

Food was really bad! I had nr77, a dish that is represented in the menu with a picture, lots of vegetables on the pic and plenty of chicken. Surprisingly, when the dish arrived, it was all rice and almost no vegetables. It was basically rice, with here and there a mushroom and chicken. And not veggies and chicken with rice, as I understood from the menu. And very bland and untasteful too, I struggled to eat it. I didn't complain, but in retrospect, I should have sent the dish back! As for the service, it was good and friendly, but also pushy and like "are you SURE you don't want a dessert?!". One "no, thanks" should be enough! Very intrusive! The decor I didn't like either. There's no privacy and it feels like a canteen, but that would've been no problem if the food were good. In sum: never again! I feel scammed!
