The restaurant was a great find. Service and hospitality was of high quality. The recommended dishes were delicious. The atmosphere was very cozy and value for money in the right balance.
Year after year, terrific food at a fair price. Tonight the penne. Great. Can’t wait to return. You should go and try it for yourself (but not on the nights I do).
This restaurant haw authentic Italian dishes and in addition to à la carte menu they have everyday different seasonal special dishes . The service is warm and very attentive. It’s always a pleasure to come back!
This restaurant is really great. Hidden in a little street near the Madeleine quarter., it’s charming and authentic . I ordered Bressaola salad and porcini tagliatelle and a very good glass of Chianti . Every dish was delicious especially the tagliatelle cooked to perfection . Alfonso was my waiter and he is excellent and explains very well the menu . Very good service and excellent food . I will come back !
I love this restaurant! The food is always delicious, the waiters always happy, helpful and courteous. It’s never too noisy or overcrowded! Such a pleasant place to dine!
Great experience with Italian atmosphere. Food is great ???? Service is perfect. Friends from Moscow. We’ll be back for sure in our next trip to Paris.
Nice, cozy Italian restaurant in Madeleine neighborhood. Very inviting, intimate upstairs atmosphere We both had excellent, delicious Italian food selections. Several daily selections. Service was attentive Location is convenient to many sites but a little hard to find by Google Map, keep eyes open when you get close. Suggest trying with so many to choose from!
After reading TripAdvisor reviews for a good restaurant within walking distance from our hotel, we decided on Visconti and were very pleased! Similar experience to many other reviews...meals were delicious, attentive service from Alfonso, cozy and quiet rather than pretentious atmosphere; the perfect choice to end our day! We also enjoyed our conversation with Andre (?), Alfonso's apprentice. Kind of hidden on a little street, but worth the effort to find!
We ate on the small terrace, it was quiet and pleasant. We mostly tried the specials of the day and they were excellent - grilled porcini mushrooms & baby octopus carpaccio. The owner is quite a character, he is an interesting addition to an overall very nice mix. We will be back!
Excellent authentic Italian cuisine with superlative fast attentive service. The restaurant is always popular and the food is always fresh and excellent.
Quality of food was not good. We should have known when we were the only ones there on a Friday night in Paris.
Best authentic Italian meal in Paris.
Great Italian restaurant. Great food and service.
Personnel vraiment adorable !
We walked by this restaurant on our first day in Paris and the smell lured us in. We were told we needed a reservation, so we made one for another night and are so glad we did! The food was absolutely amazing and the wait staff was very friendly after they warmed up to us. I would highly recommend! It ended up being our favorite meal in Paris!
We (the four of us) had a very enjoyable meal, the quality of the food and the extensive menu were two of the highlights. The staff are very friendly and not being able to speak French is not a problem as it is at a lot of places in France. The fish and pasta dish on the specials list was superb. We would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good quality Italian food.
Had dinner twice. Lovely little restaurant. Good honest food. Will come back.
Was looking for a place near our hotel in the Madeline area of town. This came up as close by, and had good reviews. We walked over and found it easily and were the only ones in the restaurant, which was a little disconcerting. We thought maybe we had made a mistake- but we were just early, as it was packed when we left after dinner. We reviewed the daily specials and ordered two appetizers to share that was the tomato carpaccio with Baratta cheese. It was excellent. Then each of the four of us ordered a different main dish. One had the truffle ravioli, one had the pasta Bolognese, one had the beef with the truffle sauce. And one had the Seabass with garlic and olive oil. Each of us was very happy with our choices. Our original wine choice was not available so we went with one recommended by the waiter and it was good. We had a great meal at a reasonable price and the 20% off with The Fork made it even better. We would certainly come back in the area again.
Really nice service and nice pasta！
