A lovely setting with charming if quirky service. Large portions of good food so no one should leave unsatisfied. The kitchen was rather noisy and seemed stressed which for a diner was amusing. It did result in my fries being sort of end of the batch with some freshly cooked mixed in but as I'm not as greedy as once it worked. Thanks all for an interesting evening.
Excellent as usual : top quality meat cooked to perfection. Had a surprising starter - a carpaccio of North Sea fish. Not what I was expecting but actually delightful. Asked for the recipe - fish all placed flat then rolled, chilled then finely sliced, Served dressed with a teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds - accompanied with chilled seaweed. Scrumptious.
Food was good, however service ruined the experience. The waiter was terrible and dismissive. Would not recommend this restaurant because of the poor service.
If you love great steak and a typical French restaurant, this is the place for you. The waiter was very welcoming and we loved the whole evening. Highly recommended.
After 30 years since we last enjoyed a meal at Vincent - it didn’t disappoint

Excellent quality, courteous service: a Brussels institution! The quality and level hasn’t changed in 40 years ( I’ve been coming since the seventies...) Pricy - average 50€ a head, but worht every cent: you get what you pay for.
Authenticity as it should be ,food being prepared in front of you in a great atmosphere ,definitely a must do in Brussels a hidden culinary gem

Super delicious prepared steak, excellent service, old school stylish decoration. The fries were crispy, not soggy, and all the meat needed was salt & pepper, nothing more.
By far the best restaurant in Les Iles Brussels. The beef is superb, the waiting staff are fantastic (in an authentic Belgian way) and the whole evening was a wonderful experience. Love it.
We both had the steak as The restaurant is noted for its meat. They were both very tough to chew. The sauce was pepper and beranaise. Both sauces were delivered in soup bowls and looked like they arrived at the restaurant in a large plastic pail. The French tries were not great. when leaving the restaurant you walk through the food preparation area and I saw them dumbing frozen fries into the fryer from a large plastic bag. The waiter said that the original owners sold the restaurant in 2014 to a consortium that now owns most of the restaurants on the street. When we walked to the restaurant we did see food being carried from one restaurant to another. At any rate the owner is no longer in the store and a consortium cannot run a restaurant like Vincent's. at the end of the meal the waiter suggested I add a 10% tip.
Our favourite restaurant in the world! Fully lived up to expectations. There is no finer dish than the mussels with garlic and cheese.
On Valentine they did not even have their most advertised T-Bone steak, prominent in both menu, online menu and blackboard menu in the restaurant itself. The meat was well cooked and not rare as requested. They did however do it over again, yet thus having the guests at the table not eat together. They were vastly understaffed for the number of tables.
