The greeting was great, the 2 gentlemen working were very kind. BUT the steak was rock hard, even though it was medium rare....inedible. The soup and salad were very good. Mousse was disappointing (dessert). After service, never returned to offer more wine, etc.

The service and atmosphere were great; I was so disappointed with the food though. I had snails with chorizo for starters which was so bland (despite the chorizo!). We had the côte de boeuf for two as our main (at €90 I was expecting good stuff). It came rare/ blue which was ok for us, but they didn’t ask beforehand if that was ok. Anyway, it was really tough. We chomped our way through it but I was so disappointed, and galling to pay that much for it. We didn’t have dessert, mostly because our starters and mains were underwhelming. Selection of wine was very good and not ridiculously priced.

Our best meal after 5 days in Paris. Warmly greeted. Promptly seated. Quick service. Delicious food. The entire table enjoyed all our meals. Chicken with morel mushrooms, filet steak and the meagre fish dishes. Outstanding food! Excellent deserts too. Meals were a great value for the quality/price. Highly recommend!

We found this gem around the corner from our hotel. Great French cuisine. Remember to ask for the English menu (if you need one). We found the service spot on and meal delicious.
