You have to try it ... but once is enough .... time between dishes is very very long.

Beautiful venue and good service, however we felt the food was not of a high standard - it was presented well but lacked taste and was over priced.

An amazing experience we went for my sons 30th birthday and we were not disappointed. We tried the Menu Gourmet with its many courses all served with an explanation of the dish and presented superbly especially the smoked suckling pig, the aroma was amazing the fish course with the very clever beetroot air was a great tasting experience and as for the orange foam, coconut soft cream Malibu you just need to try it. This was all served with amazing views of Barcelona. I would definitely recommend you try it.

As my first visit to Barcelona, I wanted something truly memorable, as soon as I spotted Torre d'Alta Mar I knew this was the place! A landmark site in the port area, built within an old water tower, benefiting from far reaching 360d views of Barcelona. Access is via cable car or passenger lift (for those less adventurous). The restaurant has a cool, slightly funky, classy vibe, with waiting staff to match, offering a glass of fizz on seating. The menu is creative, sets the taste buds tingling + comes with complementary amuse bouche. Our waitress was helpful in explaining the menu + working through our personal preferences. The food delivered on every level promised - some of the best I have ever tasted! We started our experience with wonderful views of Barcelona in the sunshine of early evening + finished with Barcelona twinkling at night. I will definitely be visiting Torre d'Alta Mar again + would recommend that anyone else looking for something a little special also makes a visit.

Fantastic view over the town, but the food is a little bit over styled! Very high prices! It has been a very cold aerea, take a jacket with you!

The restaurant has an epic view of Barcelona which counts for a good 100 euro of the bill. The rest is hit or miss. Some very brilliant courses interspersed with some under-seasoned ones. We suspect the sous chef was allowed to release dishes without having tasted them first. So near, so far.

Servicio muy rapido por las ninas....y muy lento por los padres - just as well we had things to discuss otherwise we would have been bored/peeved. Vistas geniales. Trato muy amable. The music could have been too aggressive but at the volume was sufficiently low - so fine. Price too high - you can eat better elsewhere at those prices but without the views! Wine selection fine. Valet parking appreciated as it was raining today! What else to say...we had an enjoyable but expensive family dinner.

This was our second visit. The first time everything was totally exceptional, this time service was quite bad - needed to wait for 15 minutes to be given menus and wine list. During the dinner 4 different waiters served us, almost spilled over a wine glass, service was not available when needed. It took them 10 minutes and 3 waiters to bring us the bill. The food is absolutely top notch and the tasting menu well worth the price (with 50% discount). The views to Barcelona are breathtaking although I've lived here for 10 years and have seen almost everything. All in all a great place to entertain guests on special occasions. i hope they'll get their waiting staff's act together again. Highly recommended.

This day it was busy, it meant "too slow food".

The main problem in this restaurant are the portions which are absurdly small, even for a girl. Otherwise the food is good; not exceptional, mind you, and certainly not worth the full price. One pays for the situation of the restaurant rather than for great cuisine. The views of Barcelona can not be compared with those of cities like Paris, London, Madrid or Rome, but the restaurant is still a great choice to take foreign visitors or spend a romantic evening. I would have been very satisfied with our meal if the cuisine was a bit more inventive or I did not feel like eating a pizza on my way out.
