The food was good and we didn't have to wait much to be served (very unusual in Amsterdam). Our waitress was very nice!

We had a wonderful dinner at The Lion’s Head, to the point our stomachs just couldn’t take a single gram of food extra. Great and succulent starters, we particularly enjoyed the bread platter and our main courses, the Mozambique chicken was a delight although beware your palette if you can’t handle some heat! The South African wine paired work from the Mosi has to be one of the best South African wine we’ve ever tasted. Add a nice decor, Laid back atmosphere and you have a great restaurant experience!

Great beer, excellent food, comfortable/casual environment. Tomahawk steak and pork knuckle are highly recommended - server was friendly, but a bit awkward ????‍♂️

Excellent explanation of the menu, however, test of the service was lacking.

Busy night but still great service, nice portions, something for everyone - tasting menu was excellent but the cherry on top was the tomahawk steak with three sauces! Will be back

We absolutely LOVED the food, really delicious! We ordered a number of the tapas type dishes and couldn't fault a thing. The service was also outstanding. The noise level was pretty hectic though, would be a good idea for that to be addressed. Also, the toilets need to be cleaned more regularly . Based on the food and service though we will definitely be back! a few more options on the choice of wines would also be nice.

In the pijp section, this is a wonderful place with great beer and excellent food. Katje and Sean, the owners, could not have been any nicer. We sat at a small table and ate our lunch on a sunny Saturday afternoon. A burger for me and a salad for the wife. Both were perfectly prepared. Sampled all of their beers and especially liked the altbier, their version of a Kolsch, the NEIPA and a cognac barrel-aged stout. Do yourself a favor and skip the corporate "Heineken Experience" and experience better beer and quality food while visiting Amsterdam.

Good craft beers, nice and helpful staff explained the tasting plates and helped decide if we were ordering too much food. Delicious food, 4 people shared tasting plates and bread board. My favorite was the steak and egg dish, but the Spanish potatoes were a close second. The table next to ours got the Nachos and they looked like a mountain of awesome!
