Un clásico en Madrid.
Serio, profesional y seguro
We ordered “gambas cocidas”, “victorianos” y “arroz caldoso con bogavante”, the three were totally delicious. The shrimps were specially excellent. We ordered some dessert as well, “milhojas” and “leche frita”, good as well, but maybe you have to be hungrier to enjoy them better. Wine was the house Ribera, very nice. Service was outstanding and price/quality ratio is very good. We really enjoyed it!
This will have to be one of our worst food experiences in Madrid. Recommended by our hotel Maddrono. We ordered a Two Person seafood Paella which cost 48 euros that came out really salty to almost being inedible .( I suspect to hide the the less than freshness of the seafood. Complained to the waiter who tried to compensate by giving free sorbets. By the way we were the only customers at this restaurant whereas the two other restaurants on either side were doing quite well. This did raise alarm bells and we then we thought perhaps the other two were more tapas style restaurants and this was more upmarket. We should have gone with our gut feeling.
