A rare pearl among our careful selection of the best addresses right now

Visited Spirito DiVino last night and are so glad that we came across this hidden gem. The food was excellent, matched with wonderful wine and the history that came with the building and wine cellar. Francesco made us feel most welcome, along with all the staff who were attentive and friendly. Thank you for such a wonderful evening.

This place is a gem! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The food was amazing. We had a fabulous dinner and evening!! I am going back for sure. A perfect end to our Rome visit, and a great way to say goodbye to our daughter as she starts her study abroad.

A great restaurant nestled in the quiet side of Trastevere. A building full of history, a wonderful welcome and lovely service. The menu is compact menu and full of flair. The creme brulee (but not as you know it...) is exceptional!

One of the best meals I've ever had. The food was such high quality and the service was excellent. We ate until we couldn't eat anymore and then some, and not a single thing was bad. Prices were very reasonable, especially compared to a similar quality in the US. The owner was so nice and funny and took the time to chat with us throughout the meal. I recommend this over any other restaurant I tried in Italy.

Friendly staff gave us a pleasant evening, but we realised afterwards that we were all five quite disappointed with the food - nobody wanted to say it because we did not want to spoil the good mood. The food was very overpriced, which means that I overtipped because I thought I was the only one who was unimpressed. The food did not derserve any tipping at all.

The food and service was excellent, and the history of the building was quite interesting. The waitstaff were especially helpful in deciphering the menu. This was more than a meal - it was an experience.

This is a family restaurant and it really shows in their warmth and hospitality. And they have a great sense of humor as well! But of course, it comes down to the food and drink and both were excellent. Food arrives in a nicely paced manner, and looks as good as it tastes. The service was attentive but not at all intrusive. Everyone was quick with a smile. A very pleasant evening. Really interesting menu accompanied by a good wine list. Highly recommended.

This was our favorite meal in Rome. It was so easy to grab a reservation online and we were seated immediately. The food and wine were excellent. The wine cellar is not to be missed! You are welcome to walk downstairs to see it - it is a space that pre-dates the Colliseum and you can see the doorway that used to be at street level but is now underground.

We went here on the recommendation of friends and we're delighted with the cuisine, wine choices and service. I just wish I would have saved room for the Crem Brulee!

Dated atmosphere and menu, but the food was good. However, they messed up one of our orders and brought us the wrong dish.

Outstanding in every way. Great ambiance, service, and unbelievable food. Family run business wit Mamma in charge of the cooking. Truly a gem that should be experienced if you love Italian cooking and hospitality. These restaurants make Rome a place you want to visit over and over again. The sights of Rome are staggering but the food hooks you!

A most memorable meal. We could not fault the service or food. We enjoyed a shared appetiser and primo plate. They were both excellent. The ravioli was so good. Followed by wild boar and a cod dish. We were tempted by all the desserts! We chose lavender panna cotta and pistachio desserts. Both excellent. We were brought a sample of the creme brûlée to try... Absolutely a must for next visit... as we will surely return here again.

We loved everything about our meal at Spirito Divino. Romeo greeted us with wit and warmth, along with Francesco and the entire staff. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively. The ancient wine cellar was a show stopper. If only the walls could talk.

Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner with very informative info on the restaurant and food and wine. His son, well entertaining to say the least. Mum we never met but her food was exceptional, the best we have eaten so far in Trastevere. All the staff were friendly, food was excellent and the ambiance was very good. Highly recommended.
