We had dinner with 4 incl several cocktails. It was a warm day and we already had several alcoholic drinks. When we asked for some glasses of tap water they refused and told us they are only selling bottled water. It was clear they go for the quick win, trying to make more money, rather than offering some good hospitality. It is a pity since came here often because of the nice food and lively atmosphere.

Great food, guys were extremely friendly and very helpful. Good selection of sides and salad to go along with the never-ending supply of meat on a stick! Topped the meal off with a taste of the Flan... So good, after one bite, everyone else had to order some for themselves. You won’t be disappointed.

Great experience. My twin sons had their birthday. Suddenly the music stopped and the lights were dimmed. The staff walked in with instruments and sang happy birthday in samba style. The boys were very happy with it. Thanks Samba Kitchen

Nice place good food, a bit expensive, for 27.50 they HAVE TO include the desert and at least some soda or water

Had a great evening with friends at this restaurant. The service is very friendly and quite fast, but they come back often enough to say "no, I'll pass this time" every now and then. The roast beef and the picanha were delicious! We loved it. The salad bar is better than your average salad bar in town and the garlic bread was simple, but very good. We will definitely come back another time. The only thing we didn't like was the big TV screen that showed music videos all night. The music itself was fine (although a little too loud for the tables close to the screen), but it draws the attention away from the conversation you're having, which is annoying. Still, we'll be back.

This is an outstanding churrascaria, nestled in the heart of De Pijp. You'll find that the decor is humble but inviting, and the service casual but polite. The food is absolutely delicious though, topped only by the delicious drinks and delectable desserts. You're likely to see a handful of other Brazilian Steakhouses along the canals in Amsterdam, but Samba is tastier, friendlier, and a better value than anything else in Amsterdam- well worth the short detour to The Pijp.

Love this place! Typical brazilian rodizio, with good variety of meat and a great buffet that includes the super tasty feijoada. Simple place, but with an awesome environment and the service is just spectacular! As a brazilian an I can assure this restaurant is 100% traditional brazilian :) Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the relaxed familiar atmosphere which was quite similar as experienced in Brasil. Small but cosy. Would recommend drinking caïprinhas!

The service was really good. I can recommend this to any meat lover. Buffet for €27,50, it was definitely worth it.

To start with the positives, I found the service and atmosphere very pleasant at Samba Kitchen. All the staff was friendly and informative. And it was nice to hear a little live music while dining. The seating area is a little cramped/awkard but, I've seen worse so not a big deal at all. The food is most important however, and sadly it was mostly a let down. Not all though. Some of the meats were nicely seasoned. Though a couple were less so and a bit dry or chewy. They were presented in a good pace anyway. The buffet was the most disappointing. The rice was a mix between over and undercooked. The salads, vegetables, potatoes, etc all just bland. I used a lot of salt that evening. 1 bowl of fries were placed on the table to split between 5 of us. And were never refreshed. The fresh juice on the otherhand, was absolutely delicious! The price of 27 euros is really too much for what you actually get.
