The place is very pretty,..the welcome was fine.... We walked out..the waitress was awful. Tried five times to get a cocktail. I tried to get a description of an entree...she was clueless..I kept asking for my cocktail...wanted it before ordering dinner and getting food...she was just awful..we knew the night was going to go downhill..so we cut our losses and we just walked out... We had been there the week before and had a lovely experience and looked forward to spending our last night in Lisbon there...it was like a totally different restaurant...completely different help...if you had asked me a week ago, it would have been a glowing review....this week, so bad, we left before the night was ruined...so, who knows?...but I will never go back... The food we had the week before was excellent..this time, we never got the chance to eat anything.
Great restaurant in an atmospheric building, cosy lightning, great food and exceptionally friendly staff.
Friendly staff, delicious food, stylish venue
I went with my mom, because we are in a weekend trip (we are from Spain). One of my friends recommended me Sacramento do Chiado. Really good experience!! The waitress was so nice, very helpful and profesional. The food was amazing and so tasty. I'll come back for sure. Thanks for all!
Best dinner experience in Lisbon over the past 3 years..WIIL BE BACK!
Sehr gut, alles top
Amazing cocktails, amazing food and really welcoming staff. A very nice table was reserved for my girlfriend’s birthday, with a nice position - a great gesture.
Good as always! Go here every time I’m in Lisbon
Excellent change from the usual Portuguese
The restaurant is very attractive and the staff were very good but the food was fairly mediocre--I had chicken as the main course and it was very dry
A great experience
The restaurant was a great find. We were welcomed with charm and offered time in the bar for a cocktail, but we preferred to go directly to the table. Tables are close together but although there were many people in the vaulted room we were able to talk. The food was exceptionally good. My husband had the cod carpaccio and then the grilled octopus, which was the best he had ever eaten. I had the mushrooms and the Iberian pork - ‘black pig’. Delicious! Good bottle of wine. The service was excellent. €83+tip. Not a ‘cheap eat’ but a proper restaurant. After two hours, at 9.30, as we were leaving, Portuguese patrons were beginning to arrive. Highly recommended.
Best. Octopus. Ever. The pate that comes with the bread is phenomenal Great staff and service as well. I'll be back next year when I'm in Lisbon again.
Amazing food thoroughly recommend
Fabulous food, and great service.
Really delicious food and great surroundings, realistically priced. Would definitely recommend; have the duck rice! Attentive service but not rushed...great all round
The waiter was wonderful. We were each charged a ‘cover charge’ of 3Euros. Is this routine? We had spent a week in Madeira and a week in São Miguel and had excellent meals (with no ‘cover charges’). We expected much more of the quality of food at this restaurant after having been referred by a family member. As well, we had been told that dining in Lisbon was outstanding. The main turn off was being served bread that was stale (though the pate and olive oil were excellent). Our entree and main meals were mediocre. The experience was positive due to our kind and friendly waiter.
Really good food and service, with a varied choice of dishes with a modern twist. Great choice of wines at different price points. Try to book a table on the rooftop terrace for a lovely view of the old church next door.
