It's lovely here! Great for just the two of you or with a big group of friends. And some dancing afterwards :-). The food is really nice! We went for little dishes and sharing and this was really nice. I'm a big eater, so we let it coming. And it makes dining an event when you just keep on eating. I love Latin food. Sometimes I missed some lemon, but all together this is a lovely place to visit.
The food was fantastic, and our server was very kind and accommodating. Definitely a place to visit again (and steal that mustard-coriander dip recipe!)
Really nice place for a casual dinner and drinks! the atmosphere is awesome and the waitress really nice and friendlies.
We booked the private room and they made us feel very welcome. We really loved our dinner at Roses and will be coming back!
We had a very lovely evening in the garden in the back. Good food with good service, the waiter was particularly funny and friendly.
This was an insult to Latin-American food and spirit; both the kitchen's chef and the cocktail maker gladly took the easiest way, and the girl tending our table at no moment even asked once if we were enjoying things... The grand platter consisted mostly of 'cheap' ingredients: loads of yucca (which I like, but no mayonaise upon request), loads of dough'y and cheesy items, very little meats or other veggies (if you'd consider fried yucca a real vegetable). We ordered 3 different cocktails (which are expensive to begin with) and all 3 looked & tasted exactly the same, even though at least 1 should have been of a greenish hue (mate) instead of orange (? pisco sour??). BIG bummer, never going back there again.
Great cocktails (especially the Pisco Sour), a nice selection of drinks, and good beers. Food: mostly "street food" and grills, but all are excellent. The Kraken (octopus) and Rib Eye were particularly good. Environment is lively, atmospheric and superbly decorated. A great place for a fun evening whether socialising, drinking, snacking or dining.
Fantastic place, food and atmosphere! Drinks were great and the best quesadilla I’ve ever tried anywhere! Will highly recommend this place to everyone and be coming back here for sure.
I think they have frount of house managment problems. One of my starters had been forgotten, but we mentioned it to the staff and let it go. It then turned up after we have finished the main course. Ceviche is not a desert, and the manager slapped it down with "we had to cut the tuna again", and walked off. Very unfriendly! It then turned out to be tastless and watery, so I left it. The manager did not seem to think this deserved a response and walked off again. A pity because the rest of the staff were trying very hard, and the food otherwise was excellent.
Pretty underwhelmed with the service and the food quality. Reservation did not guarantee a good seat, even on a slow night. Rather, we got seated in what looked to be an "extra" table in the middle of the bar.
Food wasn’t as good as my first time couple of weeks ago when it was delicious. Service was slow even though the place wasn’t crowded at all
Perfect experience. The food was amazing!
great staff, quick, helpful and friendly plus decent quality margaritas and good food for hanging out with friends central location and nice atmosphere
Food was terrible. I had the suckling pork. 16€ for 4 pieces of meat. Tasted boiled and had a terrible smell to it. Had to order sides apart. The vibe was good. Service was great but I would never go back.
Great food, great cocktails. Nice atmosphere and music. We loved the meat, it was delicious. service was good and very attentive, which is rare for amsterdam restaurants.
Een gastvrij ontvangst met heerlijk eten dat niet bij een standaard Mexicaans restaurant wordt geserveerd. Een tip is de streedfood platter en de homemade lemonade.
Food was ok, place and service was super good
Was already a big fan of Rose’s Cantina, absolutely love it now with the obvious influences by Salmuera! Great food and vibes for a good price.
