Ha aperto a giugno 2017 questo ristorante bistrot… quello vuol dire il neologismo ristrot… Tre belle sale, con i soffitti con i mattoni in evidenza, tavoli in legno, e di legno è pure il pavimento, insomma un’atmosfera calda e accogliente. I coperti disponibili sono in tutto una cinquantina. La cucina proposta oscilla tra tradizione e creatività, proponendo piatti di carne e di pesce. In cucina opera Giuseppe Zizzo, con passate esperienze al Ristorante Solferino, mentre in sala si occuperanno di voi, con competenza e sollecitudine, Domenico e Paolo Nazarena. Piatti di carne e pesce, si diceva… va aggiunto che il menù varia ogni due settimane con piatti che entrano in rotazione, mentre altri sono praticamente sempre presenti. E soprattutto questi andremo ora a segnalarvi.

Iniziamo dagli antipasti: Tartare di ricciola con coulis di pomodoro datterino, trito di capperi e cialda croccante al nero di seppia, Colazione salata di carciofi e Castelmagno, quest’ultima davvero originale e sorprendente. Ma se è presente in carta non fatevi sfuggire l’Uovo grigliato con crema di Robiola di Roccaverano e tartufo nero. Passiamo ai primi: Spaghetto di Benedetto Cavalieri con granceola e concasse di pomodori San Marzano, Cappello di grano saraceno ripieno al latte con porcini e rosmarino, Ravioli di zucca con burro e nocciole, tutti e tre notevolissimi. Ora i secondi piatti: Filetto di cernia in crosta di mandorle e caponatina di melanzane in agrodolce, Costolette di agnello in panura di nocciola d'Alba con burro d'alpeggio e la sua salsa. E finiamo con un paio di dolci che vi stupiranno… già dal nome: Piantina in vaso, Sfera di bosco . Ma tanti altri piatti troverete alla carta, tutti ben studiati e altrettanto ben realizzati. La carta dei vini conta su circa 250 etichette, soprattutto piemontesi, siciliane e dell’Alto Adige, con qualche etichetta francese, ma senza esagerare. E bravo il nostro Ristrot… da andarci e tornarci senz’altro.

    A wonderful restaurant a short walk from Via Po but away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area. Knowledgeable staff who made exceptional wine recommendations and made us feel very welcome. Beat meal in Turin!

    This was a most enjoyable meal. Menu included many choices. Food was creative and well prepared. Nice wine list. Wait staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. I believe a most enjoyable dining experience would be had by anyone eating at Ristrot Guviol.

    The waitress was very nice explained all the dishes to us. We ordered only one main dish and she made sure it was split into two plates even without us asking for this after we mentioned this was for sharing. The whole dinner was very tasty and experience was very pleasant.
