Main server was funny and entertaining.. Staff was so so.. Menu options are a bit limiting... not crowded but was not offered a spot outside.. Food was good, don 't get me wrong and this is a solid place as many were booked or closed at the time... If you are in a bind for a place to eat take this one. If you have options I would explore them. Big plus was the ability to make a reservation.. not many places in the area do this.

We asked for a room inside, but without our knowledge were seated in the unheated cold room designated as outside. We ordered a risotto to share followed by a lamb dish to share. Instead all food was brought out at the same time with no split portions. I ordered the roast lamb medium rare; the lamb was a strange bony cut served well done. can’t say I’ve ever had a meal with so many failures.

This was our last day in Rome and we had ten family members trying to get a restaurant to accommodate all of us. The staff was great and the food was very good. Great choice!

Nice food, nice atmosphere, staff very helpful. Wine list a little limited (not much by the glass so you have to buy full bottles if you don’t want the house wine). Can get busy here at which time staff get a little frantic but still served us well. I had the beef tail (local specialty) which had good flavour but not much meat (a bit like eating crab, lots of effort for small morsels of meat) but nice to eat a local dish other than pasta or pizza.

Really amazing that they were so attentive to my husband’s coeliac. They still gave me a bread basket which was nice but forgot to bring over the olive oil and vinegar when asked. Apart from that they were so lovely and we would go again!

Best dinner in Rome! Building is amazing, kind and thoughtful staff, fabulous food! Our table had several different dishes; pasta & lobster, lamb, peppers and cheese, and scampi. Glorious evening meal!

About the restaurant
