This is a very unique and funny dining experience for me! I didn’t get a reservation for dinner so decided to go for lunch on a workday. I went after 2pm and it took me 10minutes to find the door even it’s only 5 mins walk from the Egyptian Museum. It was really hidden in the building and you need to ring the doorbell. but the staff are so nice to point the place out to me. The food, and wine recommendation and the service quality are all superb! I like the way that they introduced Piemonte culinary details and make very constructive wine pairing. Love it and definitely want to return and bring my friends!

We had only lunch at the Ristorante Circolo dei Lettori but in our memories it is one of the best meals we had in Torino - excellent food, excellent wine, excellent service. We simply loved it and will definitely return for a dinner.

This is an exceptional dining experience, specializing in regional fare that is sure to give great memories and future cravings to return. The waitstaff was very kind, generous and attentive. They also did an amazing job handling a couple of single dads who had 3 young ones.....who wanted to order basic food (like pizza) that wasn’t on the menu. So we do suggest only dining here if you want a rich and authentic experience....if you want something plain, just stop at a cafe or local pizzeria. Order the 7 course tasting menu for the real deal and you certainly won’t leave hungry. Definitely the best lunch we’ve had in Italy, and we enjoyed it from 1 to 3 p.m., so we won’t even need to eat dinner....except for maybe a scoop of gelato! Thank you Circolo for the delicioso meal!!!

I was very funny and satisfied. The meal was also good, but a choice of wine is best. It's the restaurant I'd like to visit again by all means,️ which will recommend‼ with a️ confidence‼

Excellent food! I was a little surprised to find out, upon my arrival 15 minutes late, that my table had been given to someone else, but the waiter immediately solved the problem.

Everything was wonderful from the food to the service to the ambiance. Except it was really warm and most patrons were saving their brows. Please turn the AC on.

Ristorante Circolo dei Lettori provided us excellent food, service, and value. The gnocchi (my spouse's primi) and my duck breast were exceptional. The duck breast was prepared with plums and red onion in an acidic sauce. The sauce created an excellent contrast among the ingredients.

Everything is perfect in this restaurant: braised beef and veai fillet were juicy, tasteful and outstanding. The sommelier is a woman, expert in her field of activity able to comment very precisely the different wines and corresponding grapes selected in the very rich winelist: our Nebbiolo was excellent. We could profit also from the welcoming Maître d'hotel able to prepare a fine assortment of Italian cheeses ranging from the mildest to the hardest. Don't forget to make a reservation for this worth visiting place.

So hard to find! We chose this restaurant online because of their rating and nearby location. The biggest challenge of the night was finding it. Thank heavens for Google maps and some kind English-speaking locals! When we arrived at the location, there were no signs just a large wooden door and two military guards? (Still not sure why they were there.) We showed the restaurant name to one of the guards who opened one of he large wooden doors which led into a courtyard. Still no signs for “Stefan”. We then returned to the guard and asked by showing him the written name on my phone, he gestured “down and to the left” which took us to a locked door with what we thought were codes. Trying all with no luck, we were let in by a woman departing. Still no signs. We went up the huge staircase to where we heard people and again showed the written name on my phone. She directed us to a closed door and we had finally found it. All this to say that despite the food being good. It was, in our opinion, not worth the effort. The menu is quite small with very Gucci versions of Italian dishes. Choices of veal, rabbit, ox, beef cheek, cod ravioli but not much for those of us who are less adventurous in our tastes. My husband loved his mussel soup, my cod stuffed ravioli was delicious but served as a small first course and my husband enjoyed the duck breast. One of the interesting options is wine by the glass that is paired to go with what you have ordered. The service is superb. We were greeted with complimentary Prosecco that was one of the best we’ve had and the amuse bouche and selection of breads were outstanding. This is really a non-touristy place, which we enjoyed and had there been a simpler choice in entrees, definitely a five star experience for us.
