Excellent service. Fantastic food. The chef’s surprise menu exceeded my expectations. And the lemon creme brûlée was heavenly
Klein intiem restaurant, met vriendelijke bediening en erg lekker eten
The meat (black angus and lamb) was excellent quality and cooked just right: with fresh herbs. It was delicious, Even the salad and fries were above average. We had the house wine from Puglia to go with it, also very good. Definitely coming back.!
This is my second visit in a year, 9 months apart. I was impressed with the first visit. Good food, friendly quick service. And importantly, cater for those with food allergies.
Delicious food !
Good value dor your money! Great staff, Good service, parking space in front of the restaurant, I Would recommend this
One the best Spanish-inspired restaurants that I know with the additional advantage of being gluten-free in many dishes.
I come to this restaurant every time I am in Amsterdam for business. It has always been fantastic and I look forward to coming back. Unfortunately this time, it was a disappointing experience. The bread arrived frozen in the middle, the Octopus starter was delicious but the portion was much smaller than normal (just one finger size), the main courses of fish were not cooked evenly or enough and lacked the usual flavour and the best part (the desert) was not presented as it usually is, but rather just kept in the tin and one was sprinkled with powdered sugar but not the other one. Also, the waiter told us we were boring when we didn't want to order alcohol. This was a little surprising and not in good taste as our welcome into the restaurant. Until now, it was never a case of IF I'd visit this restaurant, but when. Now I'm not so confident I will return.
Great place, service was excellent and was the best gluten free restaurant we have been to
We used Albert hejn deal . Dinner menu was fixed , we couldn't choose starter or main but nevertheless everything was very tasty and good looking . Service was very helpful and friendly We had a really nice dinner /evening
Delicious meal, but surprised to see we were charged €4 for 2 small bread rolls, €5 for still water and after the waitress knocked over our wine and brought us a new bottle (at her initiative), for 2 glasses of wine.
High end service all round from this this great find.Everything was outstanding from what appears to be a little local restuarant, well surpassed expectations.
Great food and wine! Service was excellent ????
Loved it! Almost everything is GF so it was completely safe for me! The waitress is so nice and friendly! I'll be back really soon!
very nice atmosphere and service
All three courses (part of the AH restaurant action) were very disappointing. I had eaten here around 3 years ago and found it to be very good back then, so this time I brought a friend along. What a change from the last time! The starter was some lamb carpaccio thrown into a basic salad with lettuce and soggy asparagus a piece of artichoke (out of a can!) The dessert a very average cheesecake with some sauce that was overly sweet and did not taste at all fresh. The main dish was salmon, again with pieces of soggy asparagus, somewhat better than the starter and dessert, but unimaginative to say the least. And to top it all, the service was abominable.
We had a fabulous meal from start to finish. I had the white bean salad to start and my husband had the bacalao. For mains we both had the pork cheeks with truffled pumpkin mash. It was DELICIOUS! We shared a chocolate cake for dessert which was an incredible end an amazing meal. I have coeliac disease and this restaurant was totally accommodating and had great knowledge of how to prepare a safe meal for me. The wine list was also terrific! Will absolutely be returning to this gem of a restaurant.
I love going to La Vina, and I go almost once a week for a quick drink. Everyone is professional and attentive. The pintxos are delicious...a bit too decadent (the spinach dip: dangerous). As much as I love them, though, I think they could be a bit more adventurous/authentic with them in the future. The wine selection is fantastic. What I don't like are the signs on the wall. So corny (this, coming from an American). Support a Spanish artist from the region and chuck those get happy tips.
