Food, service, ambiance everything was wonderful. We order several dishes all of them were up to the mark. Minor comment: Veg biryani was little moist than it should be resulting in dilution of the taste. So it should be taken care of :)
The quality of the food was as good as I’d expected given the reputation of Rasoi; unfortunately the service wasn’t as strong. There was a lengthy wait for drinks to be served, although this was acknowledged with them eventually being removed from the bill. A request for tap water resulted in a charge of 30CHF for high-end mineral water. Generally I found the restaurant to be over-priced, presumably because of its location in the Mandarin Oriental hotel.
What I love about Rasoi is in trying to keep up to a Michelin standard or to cater to a European clientele, they have still managed to keep the flavors authentic. Every bite takes you to India. The presentation is very refined and the taste as close to home as possible.
Fantastic food and highly attentive waiters. Great wine selection. Highly recommended. Great setting. Pricey but to be expected given in the Mandarin
We had an amazing evening at the restaurant! The food is delicious, the service is immaculate, the atmosphere is sophisticated and beautiful. I discovered Indian dishes from a new angle! I highly recommend this place
This restaurant was an excellent surprise. The staff was very welcoming and kind. The setting very modern for an indian restaurant. The dishes were spectacular a modern, light and haute cuisine version of indian cooking - a place not to miss.
What a fantastic experience! We booked a table in the restaurant for our anniversary and saying that the Rasoi walked the extra mile is a clear understatement. From the little touches (roses on the table, special desert and a couple of sweet touches) to the efficient, professional yet very friendly service, we really traveled. The food is delicious, flavorful and served in true Indian fashion, what a treat Thank you to the whole team (special mention to Dorion who really brought our meal to a whole different level). Strongly recommend.
The staff were incredibly attentive, excellent service. Food was utterly delicious! Wonderful atmosphere. We look forward to returning in the future.
Authentic ingredients used to prepare delicious dishes. Right from the reception, the staff is very welcoming. Excellent experience. Enjoyed it.
I think the food was very good but perhaps not worthy of a Michelin star. Curries has nice flavor and the kebabs are also good. Glass of wine is expensive at 23 chf for one glass of Sauvignon blanc.
Beautiful food with subtle flavours and complex ingredients. Proportions rather small, and meals just warm. Prices very high. Staff friendly and efficient.
Food and service both were great. Specially the mixed vegetables.
Super
The food was excellent and the service outstanding.
Delicious cooking. An immediate trip to India at the first bite. The best service we have ever received with friendly, professional waiters keen to advise us and doing their best to discuss with the chef to accommodate our food intolerance. We spent a wonderful evening. We will come back soon!
Very nice restaurant and great food. Only thing which I didn't like was that it was my daughter's birthday and we had the cake but they didn't allow us to just cut the cake as it was bought from some other store (they didn't had the cake in its menu )
Tasty food and great service ; at its best!
Service impeccable, belles portions pour un restaurant gastronomique. Cuisine excellente.
Food was great and interesting and for Geneva standards reasonably priced, but 30 CHF for two bottles of water and 18 CHF for two coffees ruined the experience.
While the quality of the food was just amazing, best Indian food that I ever tried in the area, the service was lacking attention to detail. There was nobody at the entrance to take our coats and to invite us in. While we were waiting for some friends, we could have been offered some nibbles, but not. I had to ask for water twice. We would have liked to have a clean table, and place mats before dessert. Just a bit disappointing for a restaurant/hotel of this category.
