    One of the best, and not just Mexican, but one of the best meals I've ever had in Madrid. Reserved a table for my next visit before I departed the table. And bought a special reserve bottle of tequila for my bar at home. Can't sing its praises more than that.

About the restaurant

"Driven by Mexican chef Roberto Ruiz, point MX restaurant is inspired by the flavors of the broad spectrum of Mexican cuisine, interpreted from a cosmopolitan perspective.

In the kitchen of Punto MX they respect the elaborations of Mexican cuisine combined with other techniques, fruit of the gastronomic innovations, to obtain a unique cuisine with Mexican flavor.

Guacamole prepared live for the diner, the marrow grilled and served within the very bone cut transversely, or the distinctly revised tacos like the tuna from almadraba or Galician beef matured, are some of the dishes that show the richness, complexity and diversity of Mexican cuisine. In addition, Punto MX is the only restaurant in Europe in which corn tortillas are made artisanally by hand using the age-old technique of *nixtamalizacion.*

The selection of Punto MX is not limited to solid temptations. The venue has a Mezcal Lab on its top floor with an interesting selection of tequilas and mezcals and its own line of cocktails with mezcal, with proposals such as la Mezcaliña or Mezcal Chamuco."
