    We had high expectations for Pomze unfortunately upon arrival we weren’t made to feel welcome. It took 15 minutes for the waiter to get to our table we had to repeatedly ask. Finally he came and we received stale bread and a Appel spritzer (which was nice). We then ordered and did the cider pairing which I highly recommend. My sister ordered fish they ended up serving her the beef. When we said it was wrong we barely received an apology he just asked but it’s good? In other words eat up?! My meals were good I had the pumpkin soup, and the guinea fowl. My sister had the pumpkin ravioli which was bland to say the least and the beed which was bland. The dessert apple tart was nice but nothing special. All in all it was disappointing and the service just didn’t live up to expectations.

    The food was delicious and unique with the clever use of apples. The service was welcoming and provided a wonderful experience. The cider selection was excellent for one who has never enjoyed the variety of ciders. Great place!

    We would not have found this little gem if we had not used the fork. Above what appears to be a cidre and wine shop this restaurant is well hidden. Food and service were outstanding, fantastic atmosphere and not overpriced!

    The food was original, well prepared and tasty. The restaurant was tastefully decorated without being pretentious. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and quick and the bill was reasonable -- what more can you ask for?

    From start to finish one of the best experiences ever. Very cozy with friendly and attentive staff. We both had fish which was prepared beautifully. Culinary skills of the chef are both creative and delicious. The dessert is not to be missed. We had apple tart and apple shortbread both of which were amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant and Chef Alexa

About the restaurant

PARIS 8ème - Daniel et Emmanuel Dayan se sont donné comme mission de remettre l’humble pomme sur le devant de la scène. Et leur idée a porté ses fruits, puisque Pomze a vu le jour en plein Paris !

CONCEPT - A la fois épicerie monomaniaque et restaurant, leur OVNI locavore promeut les artisans de ce produit terroir et le décline à l’envie. A l’étage, on part en goguette dans les vergers de France, dont les photos constellent les murs de cet ancien appart haussmannien.

CÔTÉ CUISINE - Dans les assiettes inventives d'Alexia Falcone : Tartare de Saint-Jacques et huîtres, poireaux au vinaigre de cidre ; filet de canette kumquats, poivre vert et Granny Smith, poêlée de romanesco ; tarte Tatin en mille feuilles de pommes confites et glace lait ribot... Sans oublier le match mensuel « un grand fromage, un grand cidre ».
