Wonderful appetizer, disappointing plats. This is a beautiful location on a quiet street. The ambience in the premiere etage is quiet and attractive. Our appetizer, a unique preparation of escargot, was outstanding. We tried the two main fish dishes which were disappointing: cod with potatoes and sea bass with quinoa were too heavy and did not bring out the delicate flavors of these subtle fish. One of PARIS’ special delights for we Americans are the amazingly sauced and delicately cooked fish dishes. In the US these might make it to four stars... but not in Paris.

Nice cozy atmosphere, friendly, efficient service and decent food but wine and dishes are overpriced, with unexceptional main courses at 25-29 euros

We've been here some 10 times now, and every single time our meals have been terrific. There were three of us this time, and all three had the crabe décortiqué appetizer, which is consistently sensational. During past visits, we've had the ravioles de champignons (rich, but also delicious) and the tartare de saumon (not consistently offered, but always good when we've seen and ordered it). For our main courses, two of us had the pavé de cabillaud and the third had the quasi de veau. The cod itself was flavorful, light, and fluffy, and it was served with a ratatouille of potatoes, peppers, and carrots that was even better than the code itself. The third person didn't specifically say the veal with terrific, but he said it was one of the best restaurants he'd been to in a while, so I'm guessing it was great. For dessert, we ordered different items: the Paris Brest (awesome), the soufflant tahina (awesome), and the Praline en coque de chocolat (the least successful of the three, but still good).

This is a great place to eat. The friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Traditionally prepared French Cuisine in a perfect manner. Relaxed atmosphere. Would eat here again!

Such a gem! We really enjoyed our time here and the meal was absolutely divine. We had the foie gras, cod and veal. Everything was delicious. The wines by the glass were yummy too. We had the rose and marcon white.

Well received. Good cocktails. Not air conditioned. Service attentive. Good food but unremarkable. Plate of radishes offered on arrival. Total bill over 100 euros for 2.

Excellent selections for each course. We were a family of six. We shared 4 starters. We had two cod, two flounder, one veal and one risotto. Everything was nicely served, well prepared, and delicious. The owners and team were very hospitable and helpful.

It was an outstanding experience to have dinner in this wonderful cosy restaurant! The atmosphere and the interior alone are worth a visit... But the food tops anything I have experienced in Paris so far! They serve dishes of absolutely high quality with great ingredients. The staff is really attentive and does a great job - even when the restaurant is completely booked out. The Paris-Brest Dessert is a MUST ????

Very cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was great, we had the lamb followed by the chocolate desert.. How often do you regret not having a starter simply because the meal you had was so good? When I am next in Paris I will be sure to come here for dinner again.

Small and very popular with locals (always a good sign!). Tables for two a bit small but adequate. Most of tables on first floor so whereas normally i am facing a wall, there were windows to glance out of. Approx six options on menu offering good choice, and what we had was excellent and good, not excessive portion size. Desert choice and what i had was a bit weak but after starter and main, you won't really need it ! Staff were very welcoming and helpful with menu. Highly recommended.

Excellent find. I especially enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and really, really appreciated the kindness and patience in the service. A level of attentiveness somewhat unexpected in Paris which indeed comes highly recommended.

My family and I had our Christmas Eve dinner at Pamela Popo. The food was superb. We have eaten at many fine restaurants (The French Laundry, Per Se and Joel Robuchon Las Vegas to name a few) and the quality of our meals at Popo easily ranked right up there with our favorites. I have to say, though, that the atmosphere at Popo was better than the well-known restaurants we have experienced. Popo was warm and cozy—the music was jazzy/bluesy/chill and at a perfect volume that added to the festivities but did not distract. The staff was genuinely friendly and chic! It is a lovely, hipster-elegant restaurant—the food, sublime! I highly recommend.
