We were welcomed by Elizabetta and treated like royalty. While ur table was being prepared she took us downstairs and told us of the history of the building. It was fascinating. We had an incredible meal. It was prepared perfectly and the service was wonderful. Friendly and inviting. I would recommend this experience to anyone. It was indeed an experience and one of the highlights of our trip.

Everything was fantastic! The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant and the staff went out of their way to make us feel part of their family. They even called a taxi for us on a Sat night. A great experience all around. Highly recommend. Great menu choices

Absolutely delightful. Food is incredible and the service is so kind and welcoming. Feels like you’re being invited into their kitchen (serving the best food of course). Hands down my favorite meal we had in Rome.

food was tasteless. Service was about show--taking us down to the wine celler and showing us a picture of the waiter with George Clooney and Bill Clinton, but the fact that we had to ask for olive oil for our bread, he never removed the prosecco glasses we used at the start and the owner and her friends were smoking in the restaurant completely kills any positive anything. AVOID

We made a reservation on the early side so not many people were there. The owner, of the restaurant, took us on a tour of a lower level, ruins from teatro di Pompeo. It’s like a museum with old artifacts, really impressive. Very nice for him to share it with us. We ate tagliatele with prosciutto and chicken in a red pepper sauce, both which were delicious. Sides of a.really delicious broccoli romana...best ever, artichokes and roasted potatoes. The owner also brought over a small tastes of amatrichiana and cacio Pepe. The service could not have been better and the food wonderful. People should be lining up to get in.

Food was good. The Coda alla vaccinara was really savoury, tiramisu was good. Service was nice though a bit slow. Decoration was a bit old to me but it has its charm. If you want to take your time, you might want to go there.

Delicious dinner at Osteria Romana! The restaurant is beautiful, and the service was wonderful. We really enjoyed the tour of ancient artifacts downstairs and made a wish to Venus. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will return on our next trip to Rome!

Not a great place, wouldn't recommend it, maybe we were a bit late -9.15 on day before they went on holiday but the food apart from one dish was not sufficient in quantity or quality, the place was very dead, but servers were very pleasant.

Lovely people here. Very cozy, but classy too. First thing when we sat down they brought us each a glass of prosecco. And within a couple minutes we heard American music playing over the speakers. The bruschetta was delicious and the buffalo mozzarella as well. We ordered a bottle of the house wine, very good. For our main course she had spaghetti pomodoro and I had the lasagne ragu. Both were fantastic. Soon after that our server gave us a tour of their wine cellar and chatted a bit down there. Then showed us pictures of Bill Clinton reading there. They are very proud of that! Did dessert we shared a big tiramisu and capped it all off with two large classes of limoncelo. So to conclude, this is easily my favorite restaurant in Rome. Excellent food, excellent service and we had a great time.

Easily the absolute best restaurant we went to in Rome. Finally some good food! The owners tended to us personally, and even took us for a tour of the cellar downstairs. The food was delicious. If we had known about this place sooner, we would've gone to eat there every day.

Our first evening in Rome and we stumble upon this quiet gem tucked away behind a few alleys and in a quiet area, so we enjoyed our dinner outside. We've endulged ourselves into a 'shared' table d'hôte, for 45€ and we have no regrets. A chefs tasting menu with fresh pasta, lamb and multiple other savoury dishes to sink our teeth into, and sauce to drown our bread in. What a treat! I expressed such enthusiasm, and to my dismay, the waiter invited us into the basement of their restaurant to view what looked like the ruins of an old roman home along with an impressive wine cellar. Definitely a great way to start our first visit to Rome! Thank you for your hospitality and send our compliments to the chef!

We arrived on the earlier side (7:30) and were among the first there. Extensive menu, house wine was very good and reasonably priced, service was attentive. Food was served hot and was very tasty. Would recommend.

Fantastic! Gem in the city. Food quality and value just excellent, very welcome by the family owners. Lots of extras from the manager, well run, great service. Kim's was warm and friendly and efficient. He provided us a night we will never forget.

We had a lovely time. Went there with my wife and baby son and it was nice and quiet (we were first sitting!), which was a welcome change of pace from the manic tourist hot spots just up the road. The service was amazing - the owner took a shine to our baby and she was lovely with him - even held him so we could eat our lunch! Food was also really nice - extremely tasty and there was a great selection. We'll definitely go back there when we return to Rome (we put a coin in the Trevi Fountain so fingers crossed!).
