Bonito lugar con buen brunch
My dish was unappetising. Service not good
Bon restaurant à la cuisine inventive et originale !
Very nice ambiance. Comfortable and quiet. The service was average. The food was very good. We ordered off the set menu. The croquette sampler was delicious. The Salmorejo (goat cheese with ice cream) was good (very interesting for someone from the US). The Tacos de Chamorro were absolutely awesome. Two was not enough! Bacalao en Tempura (Ox ribs) were tasty! For desserts the carrot cake was average, but the arroz con leche was outstanding. The pricing (including beverages) was exceptional! (30€ for 2 persons!)
En general normal, mesas muy juntas
Everything was fantastic ... the cocktails were delicious. Try the veal, the salmon tataki. Service stellar. Will be back!
Highly recommended! Lovely restaurant on a quiet plaza in a lively neighborhood. Tasty food, reasonably priced. Good drinks. Good service. We will become "regulars" here. ¡Muy recomendable! Un bonito restaurante en una plaza tranquila en un barrio animado. Comida rica, y a un buen precio. Copas maravillosas. Buen servicio. Lo vamos a frecuentar.
Ate here with my parter after she had previously been with a group of friends and enjoyed her meal. Arrived a little early but were seated straight away. The restaurant had a nice amount people, not too busy and not too quite ???? it was however a little cold, something we both noticed. We had the Carpaccio and Burrata to start, and Lomo for main (it's meant for sharing at €26, which is a big piece of Pig) Everything was well seasoned, presented nicely and what was cooked, was cooked very well. The Burrata would have been so much nicer if it wasn't fridge temp, allowing it to loosen slightly and be enjoyed the way it should be. The potato that came with the Pig was OK but had the very distinctive taste of simply reheated Roasted Potato. Not much to say about wine apart from we enjoyed our bottle of Rueda. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. I would be happy to return ???? *Only a small selection of GF options, and no GF Bread. As a celiac, I like to see GF Bread available but it's not a huge problem*
Los boquerones son expectaculares
Interesting menu with good food. Will certainly visit again.
Muy rico todo.
Matute had a really cosy atmosphere even when the restaurant was empty as we arrived just as it opened for lunch. I had a mojito and a pork shank while my partner had the tempura baccalao and some red wine. We also shared some croquettes as starters. The food was really amazing - the pork shank was very tender and came off the bone and the potato puree that came with it was super smooth. The tempura baccalao had a great honey aioli sauce that really brought out the seafood sweetness of the fish. The drinks were also great - the mojito was very refreshing and not overwhelmingly sweet. All in all a great meal. It missed 0.5 points because I booked this for a menu del dia offer (3 course meal for lunch) but when we got there, we were informed it was not valid because of a public holiday, which was a bit of a wet blanket. on the regular menu, it was perhaps 10 euros more than what we expected to pay but we also didn't take dessert and shared the starter.
