La historia de esta panadería, pastelería y restaurante se remonta a 1894, cuando Melié Denancé abrió su primera panadería en Honfleur, un precioso pueblecito de Normandía. Algo más tarde, su bisnieto Jacky G. Lesellier, junto a su socio Michel Glas, prueban suerte en Londres y, tras el éxito, deciden aterrizar también en Madrid para que sepamos a qué sabe un auténtico croissant francés (con mantequilla d’Isigny) y una buena baguette. El concepto que ofrecen es muy amplio: panadería, tienda, restaurante, salón de té… Solo tienes que decidir en qué momento te apetece ir para probar auténticas delicias como las navettes de foie, las baguettes jamón-beurre, los pains au chocolat, el tartar de ternera, las costillas de pato o algunos platos con un toque español como el gazpacho.

    The quality of the dishes was good: good products and well cooked. But the amount of the main ingredients in some of them (i.e.: the lobster) was a bit scarced. The service was poor. The waiter didn´t even know how to serve the wine nor have an idea of the contain of the menu (i.e.: we asked for two things and he ddnt even know that those existed in the menu). In addition, he had problems to serve dishes on the table and never brought anything to serve the meal in our plates. The atmosphere was weird because altought it s typicak french bistro, the playlist was house and chill out, of course, not appropriate for such a kind of restaurant
