A charming restaurant with a good selection of food and many wines. Wait staff were very helpful and courteous.
Very enjoyable experience, great food and amazing service ????
We loved our long indulgent lunch on the terrace of this lovely restaurant. Food was exquisite: we had the trio of formaggi and the verdure grigliati, both very fresh and tasty, the ravioli and pasta were amazing, then I had the sea bass and my husband the lamb - both lovely. Also they served us fresh truffle on the house as well as Prosecchi and digestifs, our waiter Francesco and the rest of the team really spoilt us. Grazie mille and see you next time we re back here!
Excellent overall meal and service. The server was very attentive and provided good suggestions for in season dishes and wine. The food was savory and fresh. The atmosphere was also perfect. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal.
We enjoyed the food but the wine was so-so, and the service was very good. It was more expensive than other restaurants in the area, but we were aware of that and the surroundings were also more upmarket. It was quiet with only a few other customers and did not have the "buzz" ambience that we found in other restaurants.
Nice food, attentive services
Very pleased we gave Life a try. Had the essence of the sea tasting menu which was excellent. Waiter recommended a great Italian wine and experience could not really have been better
I think 'Life' is the best restaurant in Rome. Let's try stake with truffle and pasta with lobster.
Soup to nuts, among the very best meals I’ve had in Italy. Truffles are obviously a specialty (and worth it), and there’s a tasting menu that can drive up the price, but its portions are very generous, so it’s a good deal, but as everywhere you can order à la carte and put together your own meal, small or large. Given the quality, the prices are extremely reasonable.
food not particularly flavoursome.
Outstanding food. Really top quality and not crazy prices. Lots of truffle options. The rack of lamb was amazing!! Lots of different rooms and ours was small and tables close together but staff were excellent and quality of food was out of this world. Best meal we’ve had for years and we eat out a lot!
4 years ago I came here , today was my 1st time back in Rome and went back ....so pleased I did ..,these guys are fantastic...the food and service is exceptional....unfortunately my wife took a bad turn but these guys made sure we got back to our hotel ok John Mills ...UK
We saved this for our last night in Rome since we had to make a reservation. It was absolutely the best meal of our trip! Great atmosphere, attentive waiter and waitress, and the best food we had the entire time. We split carbonara and the grilled sea bass, with a bottle of wine. Outstanding, 10/10!
Very delicious meals and very attentive staff. The truffle meals were just fantastic. Unfortunately one of the dishes came cold but the management and service reacted immediately and took really care for an alternative. 10 of 10 points.
This restaurant was an amazing find. Absolutely loved the lobster tasting with wine pairing. Same for the Roman tasting for the guys. Portions were generous; quality was excellent. Attentive staff. Never rushed. Top 3 meal ever!
Great food, super service, reasonable prices.
Pasta was chewy and ‘sauce’ almost non-existant. Tasted like pasta water (no flavour) with some baby tomatoes on top. Food this bad should not appear on the menu if the chef cannot cook it. Laughably bad for a ‘classic’ Italian dish.
I barely write a review but i have to say this is restaurant is truly amazing! The black truffle i had is great and i like the freshness of the lobster, totally wroth it. Be sure to be there earlier or make a reservation if possible.
It's delicious. I recommend truffle steak.
The food was devine and our server, Francisco, was excellent. Very romantic patio area. Will definitely recommend it to anybody. Over all this was a very positive experience.
