Food was not as exceptional as in past, but servers were extremely accommodating and even sat us early even though we had incorrectly booked for a much later time.! Wine was very good.and fairly priced. It was so hot in the restaurant that we had to take our dessert to go! However, we will return as we’ve been fans of all of the C. Constant restaurants for years.
The meals are served in bowls which is a characteristic of the restaurant. This does not appeal to some diners but the restaurant has put a lot of thought into the content and composition of the food in the bowls. The result is a very interesting mix of texture and flavour which draw you into an experience which you will appreciate. Quality of the food is excellent and the overall experience will be a memory. A drawback for small people. is the high stools at the counter service. I recommend the tables along the wall which give your more privacy if that is a requirement.
Wow! Excelente! Escargot- delicioso! texture and flavor Pigeon - Unique flavor! not that gamie. Flavor stays in your mouth and flushed down well with white whine.
The food and service were amazing. Reasonably priced for a high quality restaurant. Very low key and not full of themselves. We loved our meal and will return on our next trip to Paris
A wonderful surprise in the middle of the 7th arr. The waiters were attentive and gracious. Amazing service and food! If you want classic french food within a comfortable and modern atmosphere, this is the place to be.
The welcoming hostess was very nice. The waitress asked us “What you want?” in an impolite tone of voice when she was taking our orders. I didn’t except this kind of service from a Constant Restaurant. I was really looking forward to this place but left with disappointment! Food was OK.

I felt the portion was a little small on my main dish (boudin noir, a special), but it was really delicious, as was the Caesar salad that I and my friend shared for a first course/entrée. The chocolate tarte for dessert was fabulous, as its name indicated. And the bottle of Sancerre was very good. All in all, a delicious dinner and quite reasonable, price-wise.
Food is large in quantity and menu was too limited.
The menu was €37 and for that price we got a sad appetizer two pieces of chicken I can make at home, with raw potatoes, 3 pieces of the same cheese sliced super thin and, the only good thing of the night, a caramel pastry, tiny but delicious. The ambiance was like being at a bar. We came because we have been clients of Les Papilles for years and wanted to see the new digs of the owner. Well, we shouldn’t have. Terribly disappointed!!

We arrived for our reservation, were seated and given menus. Although it was early and not busy it took awhile for a server to come by to tell us the specials and take our order. The food came out quickly and the rocket salad w/poached egg & bacon was excellent as was the vegetable soup. The chicken was disappointing swimming in a broth with little flavor but the turbot was good. Finished with strawberry sorbet that didn’t really taste like strawberry. Wine was good but a bit pricey. Good location close to the Eiffel Tower & École Militaire.
The Food was excellent from beginning to end. The entree and dessert were my favorite but all were great. The service was flawless. I had the langostine ravioli for entree, cod for main, and the chocolate cake for dessert. I wish I could have had the ravioli for a main. That was a memorable dish.

The restaurant is modern and simple in design. The seating is a bit tight but once we were in place we were fine. However, if you are a large person you may be uncomfortable.
