Excellent little restaurant with a varied menu and Chef's mood specials which we tried & were amazing. Very friendly & efficient staff, also very helpful in assisting us choosing the wine. Shame their "famous" Cremé Brulée wasn't available, but we'll just have to go back and try it
Amazing food and very nice service. The wine was quite expensive and not so good.
What a hidden gem! The manager owner was charming and the waitress utterly lovely. The chef even waves from her "hatch" and engages with you. We ended up booking again as the food and service was so good. 10 out of 10 for handling the block power cut and still managing to serve great food without electricity!! A candle lit evening was totally atmospheric. Some of the dishes couldn't be made as no oven, but they still managed to deliver a great service, despite the chef working in 40 plus degrees heat as no aircon in the kitchen. What a hero!
The staff was super welcoming, very friendly and they gave great advice. The food was very good and the restaurant itself is very beautiful and has a great ambiance.
Absolutely fantastic. Great Food for really low prices. Great Host and atmosphere. We had a wonderful evening and will most definitly come again
The place is very cosy. The staff was very friendly and explained with proud about the wine and the meals. The food was very nice. Recommendable restaurant in one of the small streets in city.
Wow! Great meal. Wonderful service! Marta made the evening so pleasant and she took great care of us. The broccoli starter was unbelievable. Who knew you could do so much with this simple vegetable. The sauces used with it made this the best thing I ate on my trip to Portugal and that is saying something! We also loved the chefs mood meal. The pineapple with warm rum sauce and vanilla ice cream was to die for.
Wonderful starters. Don’t miss the chargrilled broccoli with satay sauce and melon with ham. We did steaks as we’ve eaten a lot of seafood this trip and they were typical European- very thin and rare, but good. Desserts were fabulous, best creme brûlée in a long time and the mousse was perfect with my port. Great value and very attentive staff. Not fancy at all but just what we wanted.
A tester sans hésiter
Great place, but some issues with steak.
It was amazing experience. This restaurant definitely deserves a Michelin star!
Nice place with very unprofessional service (waiters are rude and ridiculous noisy at each other). The food is tasty but there's nothing French about it, the only thing French in the place is French tourists, loads of them. At the end, watch out the bill, mistakes happen, it happened to me, and that's irritating.
Stop reading reviews and honestly just eat here, you won't be disappointed. Everything from the service to the drinks are perfect and the food is the best I've had since I had a Michelin star meal 5 months ago. The best experience! Thank you
The term "chef's mood" in the menu outside, was what got me into the restaurant the first time. I LOVED it and came back again! It begins with a smily and friendly reception to a cozy and warm space. The detail of the broa bread in the entrances, the presentation of the dishes, the choice of the wine... and the desserts to finalize! Choose the Crumble!!!! The food is based on french couisine AND served in good and fair porpotions. It's expensive but with this "thefork" deal it's fair!
Un imperdible en Lisboa! Comida exquisita en un ambiente precioso. El servicio es simplemente encantador. Una experiencia gastronomica intensa y deliciosa. Un 10.
Excellent service! Great deal
Delicious food, da Silva is an incredible chef. Kind staff, chefs will even greet you from the kitchen. Short wait for food, and you can definitely go without a reservation. Food is a fair price even without the Fork discount. In a great area of Lisbon. Perfect location to eat before grabbing some gelato and strolling around Barrio Alto after!
Great place for a calm dinner :) very small, but cozy and nice place. Recommend :)
Excellent service and generally excellent food!
Delicious food, excellent service and great atmosphere! We started with the chicken nuggets which were delightful, followed by the vegetable tartine, and the steak. The vegetable tart was to my surprise with no pastry, and even though not what I had picture, it was incredibly flavorful, loved it. My boyfriend ate his steak very happily, and even more so his creme brûlée. I opted for the apple tart which I am still dreaming about. Definitely will be back for more!
