Couscous agneau cuit en sauce
Tajine kefta, olives, œufs, petits pois
Couscous royal (brochette, poulet, merguez, boeuf)
Simple and delicious restaurant. I liked that the couscous menu included things you don’t see in most other couscous restos —including a sweet and sour choice that was fragrant and delicious.
Kitchen Impossible - Tim Mälzer was here. Real good Stuff :-)
The couscous was only okay. They took a really long time to take our order/get our bill even though we were one of the first customers to arrive. One of the waiter even criticised on how we eat our couscous (we wanted to avoid a mess) and was shocked on how rude he sounded. Overall quite dissapointed with the service as we’ve walked so far to the restaurant and even booked a table (which they completely did not acknowledge).
Nothing but good things to say. I have eaten at the Zerda in the 10th many times, and the food, service and ambience is just as wonderful here in the 17th. I've sampled couscous and tangines all over Paris for many years and can honestly say that this is by far, the best.
Great tajines, but manager had an attitude!
TRES BON ON REVIENDRAS
We reserved based on the trip advisor reviews and the location as we were already in Paris 17. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere The service is friendly and familial, one of our party was stuck in traffic but it was not a problem with the owner we just waited. I had not had a couscous for many years and my hope for a good couscous was fulfilled. The meat is often what lets down this simple but tasty dish. The meat was high quality. The vegetable stock was very good and all the trimmings were present: chick peas harissa and raisins. The couscous grain was very well cooked. Many had other dishes and all were good. The wine choice is good and well priced. Overall an excellent delivery of this classical dish, exactly what I wished.
