We absolutely loved Le Reminet so much that we came back a second time for our last dinner in Paris after only 6 days (this time) in the city of gastronomy! That is how good the food, service and such a reasonable price for the choice of either the 30 Europe 40 euro fixe prix dinners. You can select anything on the menu or specials of the day for that price. The waiters not only provide excellent service but are extremely knowledgeable about the EXCELLENT wine list they provide. One even was overheard to say he discovered a recommended wine on his travels in France.... The Pigeon dish was fabulous (and I never ate Pigeon before but it was so meaty and tender with all the beautiful and tasty accompaniments it was cooked in! My husbands magret de Canard (Duck) was so sublime. The starters (entrees) and desserts too were so delicious. I cant believe how talented the chef is and Michelin should be reviewing them, awarding a 2 or at least one star for their talent. The waiter was so kind as to offer suggested restaurants in Strasbourg where our next stop was and his hometown!! THANK YOU for the best meals we have had so far in France (and we are very critical of our choices. THE BEST is here at Le Reminet!!!

Exceptional quality, complexity, taste and freshness of each dish that was creatively plated. The value was equally exceptional. Beautiful wine selection. A must go to while in Paris! Hidden gem!.

Great food, pretty great service. It is a little warm during the summer months (naturally of course). However, with the proper time of year, it would be an incredible place. The menu is small and unique, and the dishes have a lot of thought and effort put into their flavors and presentation. Thank you for giving us a nice experience.

So far this is the best culinary experience in Paris I had! I had salad with octopus and gambas shrimp as the main dish and both were exquisite! The choice of wines was excellent even by glasses (usually you have a much lesser choice if you don’t take a bottle). I wished I could have tried a desert (but I was too full), because they looked absolutely amazing. Thanks for a great dinner!

The food was pretty ordinary, the lemon sole was light on flavour and the lamb was in part not cooked/raw and in others cooked well. Bit overall the dishes didn't come together. The creme brulé was average. Were pretty experienced diners and were really looking forward to Le Reminet but it really let us down. And sadly was by far and away the worst food we have had in France. The Service was great. Marc was the highlight of the dining experience. The restaurant were good enough to allow us to come early and sit downstairs. Marc out waiter was excellent, so charming and knowledgeable and very good fun. He works very hard but he gives his maximum to every table and diner. He deserves special credit and mention.

we loved it. Took advantage of the 50% offer on the a la carte menu to order more "gastronomique" food than offered for the prix fixe. beautifully presented plates. Great little room, quiet. waiter forgot my drink until I reminded him. Otherwise, good service.

Very good dishes; tasty and sophisticated! The Mille-Feuilles was the absolute star of the meal in my opinion, please try it! Prices a bit high; friendly staff and short waiting times. Overall an outstanding experience.

About the restaurant

If you take a detour from your stroll around Ile de la Cité, you will stumble upon the Parisian bistro Le Réminet, located across from Notre Dame and down the street from Saint-Michel.

Le Réminet is an experience in itself, made all the better if it's shared. In this warm and charming bistro, you have your choice between the converted cellar, ideal for romantic dinners, or the more lively main dining room with intimate tables, Baroque-era chandeliers, and large mirrors.

To cure you from the ordinary, the chef recommends a subtle dosage of traditional meets "nouvelle" cuisine.

Indulge yourself with a scallop shish kebab, tofu with black mushrooms, vermicelli soup, asparagus and mange-tout pea salad, candied lamb shoulder with Espelette pepper, coconut and green bean stew in garlic butter, or one of many other delicious dishes waiting to be discovered.
