If you want to experience a classic neighborhood French restaurant with a classic menu with good food, friendly service, at a good value you won't be disappointed with Le Petit Canard.
Tous tres bon !
Very cute restaurant. The snails are excellent. Reasonably priced and good portions.
The citrus salad, duck confit, and chocolate fondant were all extraordinarily delicious. Every bite was a joy.
Petit Canard is just amazing. Friendly staff, cosy little place, and the food, omg, it’s just perfect. Even my friend who does not eat duck, tried the Canard L’orange and loved it. Creme Brûlée was to perfection as well.
The food was really great!
A treat. Low key unpretentious. Very good food and nice pleasant service
Had a very nice dinner in a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff.
Really nice restaurant - the owners are friendly and warm and the ducks are all of excellent quality and well treated during their lifetime. It feels great to eat great food we know has been treated well
Quality food in good atmosphere
One of the best canard cuisine in the world !
Excellent food with a cozy atmosphere and a friendly staff. We were held up in metro traffic, so we were about 30 mins late for our reservation. We walked in cold and frustrated, but we were greeted warmly and our table was still available (they booked it for 1.5 hours). The food was excellent, and the experience at the restaurant completely turned our night around. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you like duck-centric French cuisine!
They’re amazing. Having been there since 2013. And it’s so good to see they’re still there. Full house. And the same kindness is there too. What a great place. One of the best restaurants in the world.
Small while very nice restaurant, all the food are very nice, the lady served us is kind enough to let us know we ordered too much and suggested us to skip a dish. People say it's the best duck confit in town, I didn't try many but it's one of the best experience in Paris for a week trip, 5 star recommendation!
Excellent restaurant specializing in duck dishes.
Amazing all around. Was recommended this place by a friend and I’m so glad I went out of my way to find it! A must have in Paris!
I love Foie Gras here so much!
Enjoyed our visit, and like most reviews, if you love duck then this is the place for you. We did noticed that over 90% of diners were actually tourist and not locals. A bit surprised, but if it's on TripAdvisor, you know the target audience.
The food was a-ma-zing!!!! We really recommand this place ;-)
Cosy and welcoming. Food was fantastic! We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. Best to make reservations as the place only has a few tables and fills up quite quickly.
I am a duck confit fan from way back and was very pleased with the dinner I enjoyed here last night. It is a small, cozy restaurant and I loved the ambience. Their chalkboard menu let you know if you were in the mood for duck you had come to the right place! Le Petit Canard will be a repeat visit next time I am in Paris! Merci beaucoup!
Cannot wait to go back - friendly service, reasonable prices and great food - I would recommend reservations from 12:30 onwards - one of the best duck offerings in Paris.
All the dishes were done well. Quaint atmosphere. Feels as though you are being served in someone’s home. Owner very social and engaging. Hired server very quiet. Would highly recommend to duck lovers.
Always make a visit to Le Petite Canard whenever I’m in Paris. Took my family here who also loved it. Highlights include the farmers salad, confit duck and the fois gras - it was a shame that the fois gras tasting board wasn’t available but the medallion was still great. Highly recommend this.
Wow. This place is wonderful. Standing ovation. Amazing food, small location, very good service, and surprisingly modest cost. Don’t miss this gem!
The escargot was amazing along with the foise grois!! The confit was like none other. I highly recommend! Really cute place with good environment! Friendly waiters as well. Please have your meal with a Rose, and tip well
Such a lovely experience. Kind and helpful service. So thoughtful about food allergies. Truly delicious food—nothing has ever been disappointing. I will return whenever I’m in Paris.
The restaurant was cosy, personal and very friendly. All three courses were excellent and well appreciated by two generations. When we left the restaurant we all agreed: We will come again!
great restaurant for duck lovers
Such a lovely experience. Everything was perfect! The proprietors are kind and expert in pairing wine and food and we’re very helpful in accommodating our gluten-free needs. I highly recommend the charcuterie, we call it “Duck Four Ways.” Take your time at this place. It’s a respite from touristy Paris.
Amazing!!!! Booked a table for dinner close to our hotel on our arrival to Paris and food and service is magnificent. From arrival to leaving the food smells wonderful and tastes so delicious. We absolutely loved this restaurant so much so we going again on Monday night. If your visiting Paris you need to go here but book.
We had a really awesome dining experience! The owners were very nice & courteous. And food was excellent! ????confit de canard- a must try!
We were treated with kindness and good humor, despite our fumbling attempts at French. Our starters and mains were all exceptional, and when we asked for a wine pairing, it did not disappoint. Our only regret is that they did not provide us with second stomachs so we could finish every delicious bite.
Cosy and affordable place for duck and foie gras. Particularly enjoyed the sliced duck breast with honey and the duck confit. Service was great as well. It’s a small place so reservations are definitely needed.
We love this restaurant! So charming and delicious.
Magnificent duck and foie gras. Lovely owners. Great wines. Cheap for the quality you are getting!
Excelente! Lo recomiendo definitivamente.
Really enjoyable meal, delicious duck as well as the desserts!
One of the best dinners I've ever had , a real find. It's small and a bit off the beaten path, not a tourist trap at all. I cannot speak French at all but the woman who runs it welcomed me so warmly (arrived a half hour early for my reservation but was still seated right away) and went out of her way to look after me. I began with onion soup and escargot (simple starters but WOW...) then had a duck entree which came with 2 different sauces and four sides. Everything I was given was outstanding and she also recommended a glass of wine that paired perfectly with all of it. If you enjoy duck, seek this place out, you will not be disappointed....
Amazing dishes from the duck, good wine, perfect desserts, what else do you need?
