Excellent food with a cozy atmosphere and a friendly staff. We were held up in metro traffic, so we were about 30 mins late for our reservation. We walked in cold and frustrated, but we were greeted warmly and our table was still available (they booked it for 1.5 hours). The food was excellent, and the experience at the restaurant completely turned our night around. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you like duck-centric French cuisine!

They’re amazing. Having been there since 2013. And it’s so good to see they’re still there. Full house. And the same kindness is there too. What a great place. One of the best restaurants in the world.

Small while very nice restaurant, all the food are very nice, the lady served us is kind enough to let us know we ordered too much and suggested us to skip a dish. People say it's the best duck confit in town, I didn't try many but it's one of the best experience in Paris for a week trip, 5 star recommendation!

Enjoyed our visit, and like most reviews, if you love duck then this is the place for you. We did noticed that over 90% of diners were actually tourist and not locals. A bit surprised, but if it's on TripAdvisor, you know the target audience.

Cosy and welcoming. Food was fantastic! We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. Best to make reservations as the place only has a few tables and fills up quite quickly.

I am a duck confit fan from way back and was very pleased with the dinner I enjoyed here last night. It is a small, cozy restaurant and I loved the ambience. Their chalkboard menu let you know if you were in the mood for duck you had come to the right place! Le Petit Canard will be a repeat visit next time I am in Paris! Merci beaucoup!

Cannot wait to go back - friendly service, reasonable prices and great food - I would recommend reservations from 12:30 onwards - one of the best duck offerings in Paris.

All the dishes were done well. Quaint atmosphere. Feels as though you are being served in someone’s home. Owner very social and engaging. Hired server very quiet. Would highly recommend to duck lovers.

Always make a visit to Le Petite Canard whenever I’m in Paris. Took my family here who also loved it. Highlights include the farmers salad, confit duck and the fois gras - it was a shame that the fois gras tasting board wasn’t available but the medallion was still great. Highly recommend this.

The restaurant was cosy, personal and very friendly. All three courses were excellent and well appreciated by two generations. When we left the restaurant we all agreed: We will come again!

Such a lovely experience. Everything was perfect! The proprietors are kind and expert in pairing wine and food and we’re very helpful in accommodating our gluten-free needs. I highly recommend the charcuterie, we call it “Duck Four Ways.” Take your time at this place. It’s a respite from touristy Paris.

About the restaurant

"Very close to the Pigalle Metro, near the pretty place Saint-Georges, Le Petit Canard is a location that cannot be given a miss.

Guests can enjoy traditional cuisine prepared with produce from the family farm in Haute-Savoie here. Of course, the great specialty of the establishment is the duck, that you can taste in all its forms. Mère Gaud's duck is not the duck found in supermarkets!

In terms of decoration, the atmosphere of this small place is intimate, the welcome is without fuss, simply sumptuous.

A must-visit restaurant for all duck fans."
