Service was pleasant and good. However the meal was not hot which gives the impression the plate was sitting under a heating lamp. I had asked for my lamb to be well done, but it was only medium and I couldn’t eat it.
A lovely restaurant with a warm welcome and beautifully presented and tasty food. We had the duck and tuna which were both perfect, with a decent bottle of wine. Would eat here again when next in Paris
When we first arrived we were ushered to seats on the upper level tucked away in the corner. It was quite warm and a bit claustrophobic. But, once we were served our first dish, we quickly forgot about seating and enjoyed the incredible food.
I asked for the best table when I made my reservation online. I was very happy that they remembered when I arrived to see a very romantic table by the window. It was the best table in the house! The food was delicious!
This is a wonderful place little place with fantastic dishes. Both of our meals were perfectly prepared and the service was great and knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to visit again next time we are in Paris.
Food good but not creative or inventive. No air conditioning. Table close together. I can tell you that they turned away several people so their reputation precedes them. Service was friendly.
Very good food and ambiance. Service was a tad slow last night but the waitress did cancel our redundant reservation which was good. Value for money is not great compared to some of the other places we frequent regularly in Paris. The restaurant would do well to offer a reasonable fixed-price menu around 40€.
nice food and wine, perfect servie, location is also good
Highly recommend! Always look forward to eating here whenever I’m in Paris!
A charming setting with a delicious and extensive menu offers outstanding service that equals a memorable evening. Do not fail to make a reservation.
Everything about our dinner was outstanding in all aspects. We enjoyed the table for two by the window, upstairs. It was perfect on our rainy spring day. From there things only got better, from our great waiter who did a wonderful job explaining and guiding our choices to our meal which was absolutely fabulous French food. Something not to miss.
small cozy restaurant... perfect first night meal! reasonably priced wine and lovely food!
Great restaurant, intimate atmosphere and good food and service.
I have been coming here annually for several years and it never disappoints!!
Tourist restaurant. Ok food. Heard more English here than on my entire trip.
Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Tasty wines by the glass. A bit uninspired garnitures to the dishes, basically same salad and mash to most orders we could see. Had expected more imaginative sides to the meat. One of our lamb pieces over marinated/dry as it was the first cut from the rack, while the other cut was nice.
Very nice, cosy place with tasty dishes.
Really can’t understand all if the 9 and 10 ratings. We ate there and all of the food was consistently bland. The vegetables were mushy and over cooked. The risotto was as well. Both of the proteins were under seasoned which was a shame as the quality of them was good. Over all very disappointed in the food and having spent 3 hours there with the last 45mins having to consistently ask for the check and be ignored. This should be a skip bc I don’t understand what has warranted the high ratings, unless everyone that has come here has no taste. Who knows.
I loved this quaint restaurant! The good was delicious and absolutely worth the price. It was very representative of French cuisine!
Un tres bon restaurant et un service impeccable

44 Rue Vieille du Temple, 75004, Paris, France
En plein coeur du Marais historique, à deux pas de la rue des Rosiers et de l'espace des blancs manteaux.
"at the heart of the historical Marais, Le Colimaçon invites you to dine in its cozy restaurant. You will be charmed by the hushed décor of red and black shades, matching harmoniously with the stone walls.
In terms of food, you'll enjoy traditional cuisine with accents of Southwestern France. Discover great classics given an exotic personal touch like the whole bar portfolio à la Provençale and/or the grilled lobster and its ginger butter, a real delight! The dishes are copious, drenched in flavors from the environs and sometimes from more distant lands. Suggestions, each one as tempting as the other, will delight gourmets!
Lovers of good crus, treat yourself to wine tasting: beautiful discoveries are in perspective..."
