Great restaurant. Warm welcome. Top location. Simple food that works well in top notch location. If you like bistrot style at decent price it's a good place to start.

Warm welcoming service, nice starters followed by the worst steaks ever had in Paris! Sent first two back, replacements were sadly equally inedible AND they charged for them! If your thinking of eating steak, we strongly recommend you eat somewhere else!

Welcoming and helpful service. We arrived a little late and in closing but they still served us well. I took a large and good salad and those who were with me took some nice bruschetta. Ultimately good.

Interesting w/discount. No discount for Planche Mixte? As someone mentioned, the menu was indicated ‘La Fourchette’ giving the image as if the menu is different. Service was friendly and efficient. The fish plates were cooked just right so as the duck, scallops. Tiramisu was not rich and creamy, a bit too healthy for my taste. The meals are in good potion and decent glass wines.

The food was good, not outstanding. We had the Seabass and scallops. The portions were a tad on the smaller side but the bruschetta was definitely on the larger side from what I am use too. I think because we were tucked away against window we were not in sight and had to keep asking for refills on our wine. Just not the service I was expecting but my no means was it bad either. My expectations are always high and maybe that’s my fault but service goes a long way in deciding if I would come back or not. I would say this is not a number one recommendation to go too, but I would also not count it out. Go just bring your expectation level down a little bit and you’ll be just fine.

About the restaurant

"PARC MONCEAU - Ideally located in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, Le Café Dumas is opening its doors to you. Guests can enjoy traditional cuisine emphasizing fresh products of superb quality.

DINNER IS SERVED - fish coming from Rungis are marinated as fillets, then grilled à la plancha and accompanied by vegetables in the wok. We would suggest crispy prawns with basil and lobster bisque as entrée. As main dish, loin of fresh cod-fish grilled, marinated with herbs and vegetable tagliatelle in the wok or roasted duck breast with honey. And, for dessert, the famous tiramisu with raspberries and cookies.

cozy - come discover this establishment in a cozy and friendly setting, where you will be greeted by a smiling team. Enjoy the terrace (heated in winter) throughout the year!"
