Tasty, very simple, all homemade food. A kind and knowledgable waiter. Good wine list. On a quiet little street near Montparnasse. The negative comment might be that the food was noticeably basic. Perhaps a few veggies, a bit more sauce, or sprigs of parsley or extras...? Nonetheless, I'd recommend it and say that it would be a nice place for a larger group of 8 or so people for a celebration... Comfortable for an evening with friends.

Fantastic restaurant with friendly English speaking staff. Wanted to go back but it was closed on Sundays! One of the best restaurants we've been to on multiple trips to Paris

The food was nothing special, with very simple garnish and very small portion, desserts was a bit disappointing. Service was fine, quiet environment and a bit old furnishing. We will give a second try because was the first day after the summer break.

Excellent food and service. Started with ceviche and petit pois soup; both amazing. Fish and Canette (duck) were generous portions and delicious. Added the wine pairings and got a discount from reserving through La Fourchette. Server/owners both speak English. Highly recommended.

About the restaurant

"A CULT PLACE – A pilgrimage is required: this place is sacred. In a magnificent setting with accents of the beginning of the century, discover the epitome of Parisian brasserie. For novices, the 'T' here refers to the former occupants of the premises, the respectable family Thoumieux, restaurant owners since 1923.

ACCESSIBLE TALENT - At noon, several gourmet menus give spirit to the lunch break. In the evening, everything is allowed à la carte with, in particular, a magnificent entrée-main course-dessert, including the aperitif with Lillet and wine. Food and wine agreements possible and highly recommended to exalt frogs legs or a bone marrow.
