The quality of food is great. We have enjoyed our dinner. The location is a bit far from city center. The service is very friendly and enthusiastic. Only one problem is our starter and main course have been served at the same time. Others have no problems.

The food was good and we did not wait to long to be served although we were a big group of people. The top floor of the bistro is very cosy. I would go back there for sure ????

I spent a lot of time choosing a restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday and Le Bistro lived up to all the glowing reviews and exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is lovely with exposed brick and stained glass transom windows, it has a warm ambience and the food is fabulous with generous portions and is reasonably priced. The scampi with garlic starter was memorable. We chose traditional Belgian dishes for our mains - my flemish beef stew and my husbands roasted ham with mustard sauce were both fabulous. There is a great selection of Belgian beer, wine and cocktails. The staff went above and beyond by singing happy birthday to my husband and giving him a complimentary dessert. We would return and definitely recommend this restaurant!

travel to brussels the first time, only stay for one night, and of course have to go mussels & fries. Checked this one online and made a reservation, which turned out to be very wise, coz so many customers coming. Lovely vibe, warm service, and most of all, truly delicious beer, mussels(garlic+cheese flavor) and fries (w/Mayonnaise source), and good value for price (27euro in total). I'm so glad I chose this one after reviewing a lot. Definitely recommend it!

We had Mussels (cream, garlic and wine - great!) and meat with excellent souces (Bairnaise with whow-factor!). The service was attentive, but not pushy. Good variaty of french wines for moderate prices. It was a wonderful evening and we will definetily come back when we are staying in Brussels again!

Straight from the Eurostar and eating mussels within the hour. Fab! Yummy and large. The initial waiters were slow at taking our order but after that all good. The chips weren't too great but the mussels more than made up for it. It's a must go! Thanks TripAdvisor for helping me find it in the first place!

There’s a real buzz to this place, the food was excellent and the staff are fantastic. Great welcome, banter and service! English spoken freely which is a bonus when you don’t speak French.

A lovely atmosphere with incredibly friendly and attentive staff - I've never had such friendly and funny service! The food was also delicious and we even got a complimentary mint green tea after the meal. Would definitely recommend for a friendly and authentic Belgian dining experience!

This is my second visit, and the first time for my companions. While I still got the warm welcome, perhaps because it was a weekend and there were more customers, waitstaff attention was erratic. Sometimes they were attantive and sometimes not at all. A waitsfaff toppled a couple of glasses of beer near us and one of us was splattered a bit. We asked for some napkins to wipe it off - it never came... They were very accommodating though to my request that we transfer inside for our meal after having had our drinks in the terrace and a new patron beside us began smoking. I had the same entrecote I enjoyed the last time and I still enjoyed it. One of my companions had it too but he found it lacking in salt. My other companion ordered the Flemush beef stew - it was her first time to taste it and overall she liked it though she found it salty - so, for all I know, the salt level is a matter of personal taste! We had after dinner coffee Nad maybe it was a looooong day for the staff because they got my order wrong... I asked for a macchiato and they served me an espresso but they gladly replaced it when I told them so. All in all, not a very good experience, but not that bad either. Will I go back? I think so. So far, this is where I have had the best entrecote in Brussels (and I've sampled a number...)
