    The most superb chicken sauce I had in a while. good quality. The discount was applied without having to ask. Very friendly staff. Good for a business lunch or with friends. Original tastes in the dish which I really enjoyed.

    Very special expirience of “surprise “ dinner. The Lavinia team put a lot of effort and fantasy into not only creating delicious menu and serving fantastic wine , but also providing the guests with memorable expirience of tasting food and wine blindfolded. Very unique, well done!

About the restaurant

Présentation du chef Alexandre Mathieu :

Après ses premiers diplômes hôteliers obtenus à Nice, Alexandre, intègre l’ESCF (Ecole Supérieure de Cuisine Française) à Paris. Il se perfectionne ensuite dans de prestigieux établissements (Alain Passard, Le Lutetia, Le Jules Vernes, La Timonerie…).

Le déclic de la bistronomie se fera auprès de François Pasteau avec l’ouverture de L’Epi Dupin, élu meilleur bistrot de Paris en 1997 avec lequel il collaborera près de 4 années.

C’est en 2002 qu’Alexandre ouvre son propre établissement, « Le Bistral », dans le 17ème arrondissement. Il deviendra une institution pendant ses 11 ans d’existence, coup de cœur du Gault et Millau en 2007. Après de nombreux voyages en Asie, il vient à Genève en 2015.

Alexandre est un cuisinier épicurien, passionné, généreux, qui vous offre une cuisine savoureuse basée sur l’excellence du produit, identitaire et conviviale. A vos fourchettes !
