With a pan fried scallop, yellow curry and sea fennel
With oxtail, pistou sauce and pinenuts
Fabulous food, excellent service. We took two twelve-year-olds and they got out a bottle of non-alcoholic fizzy wine! My daughter is allergic to nuts and sesame, which they worked around with ease. Though a grown up venue, our best family meal in Amsterdam.
We had a fantastic time at Lastage and the food was incredible. Few little hiccups like our first glass of Cava was forgotten, ordering food has taken some time, and after each fantastic wine pairing with the meal the wine bottles were left at our table for a long long time which was a little confusing. Also the acoustic was kind challenging with quite few lively guests around us... However service was friendly and knowledgeable... bill a little more pricey than I expected.
Best restaurant in town.
Absolutely fantastic. The service is impeccable and the welcome special. You can tell that the whole experience is built on love for what they do.
Small restaurant with a good atmosphere strangely hidden away in a turbulent neighborhood just around the corner of the red light district. This very well functioning team really knows their trade though! The kitchen creates well proportioned, very tasteful and surprising dishes with beautifully balanced ‘fusing’ ingredients. My wife’s nut allergy was well understood, changing her dessert ever so slightly without loosing it’s lovely taste! Knowledgeable servants obviously love their business and go the -rare- extra mile making you feel understood and ‘at home’. Staff is very attentive and pleasant too. Upon arrival, they even proactively offered to clean my fogged up glasses! How could we’ve missed this hidden gem during the 9 years of it’s existance? It was a real pleasure being their guest and we will for sure revisit at the next possible opportunity! Highly recommended if you are a mature foodie interested in experiencing subtle culinary delight with best in class gastronomic intent.
One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. No consideration for the customer and what we wanted—which was not a 5 hour set of hit or miss courses with no option to leave.
Service was great and the food simple but delicious! Perfect for a casual dinner. They have a nice selection of wines as well!
Great, high quality meal for an affordable price! Intimate setting with wonderful staff makes for a great date night or for catching up with a dear friend.
Very nice restaurant, excellent food, good wines, perfect service. I enjoyed the whole atmosphere in this typical, cosy dutch house very much.
Just amazing, the service was professional the food superb and the environment in overall was excellent Would recommend this restaurant to all food lovers.
The service and dishes were amazing. We are still thinking about the soufflé! The cafe was cozy and had a warm atmosphere. Everything was superb!
Highly recommended. Delicious food and cozy atmosphere.
We had the chef's menu: 8 courses of small tasty portions - beautifully presented. Very interesting combinations of flavours and textures. Good winelist. Friendly, helpful staff. Small, atmospheric place, nicely decorated. Comfortable chairs.
The meal was utmost kind and certainty a privilege to be part of their retro. A slight tarnish on the soup settlement course. The wine pairing is delicious and delicately combusted, a huge light at the end of the tunnel. Everything else fell into place. An elegant service, with a huge tickle to the chef. A very well done.
This is a special restaurant. Being from New Orleans we are blessed with some of the world’s best restaurants, Lastage deserves a place with the newer, up and coming, special eateries to try. Very impressive; only one seating with only 30 seats you are treated to a personal food experience. Don’t miss this.
We have a nice experience at Lastage, it's a cozy restaurant with some delicious and quality courses. The staff is really handsome.
Fantastic food & service is impeccable.
Absolutely perfect evening. The service was warm, smart and attentive. The food was creative, beautiful and so delicious. Each course’s ingredients were perfectly balanced. The chef made a special vegetarian entre for my daughter that was a blast of fresh flavors. The desert was mouthwatering and my lemon meringue was a great way to finish the meal. Strongly recommend this restaurant gem.

Geldersekade 29, 1011 EJ, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Not more than 30 couverts and a small, high quality menu in which you can decide on the sequence yourself. Lastage houses in a former Amsterdam canal house. Named after the Lastage quarter, closeby de Wallen, where the discharging of merchant ships took place. The team is proficient with pans, passionate about wines, professional and warm-hearted.
