Bref moyen. Vins rapport qualité prix : Mercurey correct. Grands crus très chers. Sinon accueil et service bien.
Chicken dish was very disappointing, and we suspected that hey used frozen chicken. The French fries were served cold.
Gracious charming host and wonderful food
Excellent in every aspect.
At the end of the day, La Rotisserie d'en Face is what it is. A tourist attraction. And plenty of tourists do come. As an American I feel entitled to shame those co-nationals who have not learned yet to keep their conversations to themselves to say the least. Despite the bravery of the service staff those people will ruin your dinner experience. Dishes well made and presented. Service impeccable. Interior decoration is mediocre.
Great experience! Do not miss it!
It is not easy in my view to find good quality, friendly, reasonably priced and non-cynical restaurants in that part of Paris. La Rotisserie is slightly off the beaten track on Rue Christine, which is quite lovely. We were warmly welcomed, well looked after, had two very good wine suggestions and left feeling entirely happy about the experience.
Excellent preparation and presentation of high qualty ingredients. Menu imaginative but not off-the-wall too-too chic and trendy! Staff were superb and knowledgable. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. This restaurant was superb in all aspects! Thanks to the restaurant for that and to La Fourchette for leading us to them!!!
We've been coming to Paris every few years for the past decade and always have a meal at this wonderful restaurant. The service and food are always great . The restaurant is located in a very busy neighborhood but on a quiet street which transfers into the restaurant making for a calm and peaceful dining experience.
After very long time, we enjoyed a good restaurent in Paris. Excellent Service, tasty food with some rare main courses, very clean wc and good ambience. Highly recommend and looking forward to return back again.
We had the escargos as an entree and it was average. Done correctly. For the mains, we had the duck and it was OK. The artichoke pate that came with it was not to our liking. But overall a nice place with good service.
Warm atmosphere and the quality of the meals is superb. Price are high but in line with the quality. The fix price menu are great!
The sole meuniere was good, but the pluma de negra was overcooked, dry, and bland, as were the accompanying pureed potatoes. The pastry on the Paris Brest was not fresh, but the raspberry clafouti was excellent. The service was fine, except that when we arrived three minutes early because it was raining outside, they made us wait outside instead of inside. I don't think that was intentional; the staff was simply oblivious. Overall, even with the discount, this resto is too expensive for what it is. I dislike being negative, but this is the third time we've been disappointed by this resto.
A very enjoyable evening
High quality choice, very nice atmosphere, we would reccomend it for both Romantic dinner (several couples around us) or friends event. In the real heart of Paris, with the discount you can benefit of Parisienne night life at a reasonable (not cheap anyway) price. Dessert are gorgeous, don't miss them !
very good value for money, with quality dishes and friendly service
Food was excellent!
The veal was so over-cooked as to be inedible. Everything else I had, and the other three in our party, was very good, however.
Wonderful food and friendly, professional service. A great choice for a special night.
Fermeture samedi midi et dimanche

"SINCE 1992 - In the neighborhood of the old Saint Germain des Prés, the rotisserie was opposite... the gourmet restaurant of Jacques Cagna, from the time when they were still there. And if the name has been retained in memory of this institution, the place has been reconstructed on the occasion of its 20th anniversary. The decor is contemporary, and you will be welcomed in an atmosphere that is both sober and chic.
DID YOU SAY CLASSIC? - The chef makes up the menu according to the seasons and his sumptuous dishes respect traditional French flavors. You'll love the foie gras of duck of the Landes, a griddled Scottish red label salmon or the Guinea fowl pastilla with eggplant.
RESERVATION RECOMMENDED - the service here is dynamic, the cellar sought after and the atmosphere relaxed... rue Christine is calm but one jostles around here to see the spits on this rotisserie turning at full flame!"
