A little stiff. Very few guests. But food was great. Quite formal

Wonderful variety of flavors. I did a 5 course vegetarian meal while my husband did the meat meal. We bothe enjoyed all the dishes and the array of flavors for each. This’s is intended to be a long slow meal. Plenty of time between courses to talk and drink. The setting looking out into the canal is very nice. The tables are spaced well apart from one another. It only got noisy when a big group of women came in and were talking all at the same time. Prior to that it was very pleasant.

Truly remarkable meal, We enjoyed the “Left Bank” version of the tasting menu. The lamb neck was so soft it almost wasn’t recognizable. 7 course, $125 Eu, not cheap by any measure, but a great value when considering the experience, Exemplary service, inventiveness in cuisine, service that is really impressive and a great ambiance. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better gastronomic experience in the city. The view was actually better than the Neal, that’s saying something.

Delicious food with two menus offering 7 courses each. We were especially fans of the dessert courses, the octopus, the asparagus and lobster dish, and duck liver pâté with fresh ground masala. The portions were more than enough in total (you may even chose to remove one or two courses). The service was superb with attention to guests using the restroom. Timing was appropriate and attentive. Wine pairing was delicious, bringing unique wines to complement each dish. Many varietals I had never tasted before. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a Michelin star experience and exceptional food.

Anniversary dinner with my wife. First of all I would like to say that the people/person who took the Michelin star away are completely wrong. We went for a 6 course with the matching wine and truly enjoyed every single moment we stayed in this restaurant. The food is of highest quality and the presentation is perfect. The service is excellent. All people in La Rive show a true passion and have high energy. A special thanks to the Sommelier who is truly knowledgable and very entertaining.....please keep up your good work....we will for sure come back....Thank you.

Fantastic 5 course meal with the best wine pairing I’ve ever tasted. Totally on form in every way imaginable. We visited on a romantic occasion and opted for different menus. So we could savour twice the gastronomic delights more. What a winner, a tad expensive at €400 but in retrospect I’d pay it again. A big thank you to the professional staff especially the vineyard whizzard. We shall return. Regards P.King

Where to begin; to say they have taken service to the highest level would be an understatement. Food incomparable! We did the 7 course tasting with the wine pairing. The experience was monumental. Every course was so good and better than the last, the wine pairing was so meticulous and hit ever note with the meal . Really a first class experience and hopefully not a once in a lifetime experience as we hope to come back. Thank you!!!
