Food was excellent. The maitre d , I believe the owner, was gracious and friendly. My waiter was thorough but very aloof.

This was our second visit to La Muraille de Jade and we will definitely go back again. First, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The owner comes by every table several times to welcome you, check to see how the meal is progressing, and if he is around when you leave, to say goodbye. Secondly, the food is delicious. The Pho soup is the best I've had anywhere and the main course dishes have all been wonderful. The ambience is perfect, the meal is delicious, and the people are some of the friendliest in Paris.

We had been to the Jade 2 years ago when in Paris with 5 family members. We loved it so much we had dinner there 4 of the 7 nights we were in Paris! So my husband and I were so happy to go back on this visit and dinner was excellent, the ambiance is intimate and friendly but warm -not pretentious. Highly recommended ! And the neighborhood is wonderful for strolling after dinner..

As many reviewers have said, the owner is charming & makes everyone feel very welcome and the restaurant itself is atmospheric. Our starters were enjoyable however we were both disappointed with the quality of the main courses. On the whole we felt that both the food & wine was overpriced.

Well located Vietnamese restaurant in Paris' 6th district. Pleasant decor, helpful waiters, and, as our waiter said, classic versions of Vietnamese dishes. The clay pots are a standout, and we will happily be returning to the restaurant in the near future.
