I always take visitors to Paris here as they can see how well executed cuisine and service really feels like. Seasonal cuisine done well and simply. Strongly recommended.
the sweetbreads were excellent, and my dessert was pineapple with a caramel sauce that was wonderful. My wife had a shrimp and risotto dish that was reminiscent of, but much better than the shrimp and grit dishes we have in the States. Service was excellent, they went out of their way to help us understand the menu.
I booked on line and they didn't register our reservation. They kindly found us a table. The food was good but too expensive compaI red we ate and the bill was not clear and detailed. They didn't apply the discount as promoted on the fork.com!
Wonderful meal, great piece of meat, tasty potatoes. We loved it!
I'm always happy here. Thoughtful owner who is kind and patient and the perfect host.
the restaurant was almost empty. the choices were few and the food was disappointing
I love this restaurant in all ways. The service was both fun & efficient. The food was very delicious & the plates had large amounts. This is a small restaurant so very intimate & beautifully done. Also, a nice wine list. One of my favorite restaurants in Paris!
Lovely food, and warm and welcoming atmosphere!
Fabulous from start to finish!
Excellent food, highly suggest the shrimp risotto. Overall, my reservation was for 2pm, and I arrived a little earlier, hoping they would be able to seat me. To my surprise, despite the raving reviews, it was very empty, service was attentive, they have menus in English, etc. when I asked for the check, I was told I had to order dessert to have access to the discount. That for me was the only letdown. By the way I ordered the dessert and it was also good, just don't like to be "forced" to order it. I guess my suggestion in this case would be to tell the guest the rules at the time the order is placed.
This is my favorite kind of restaurant in Paris. Small intimate spot. Great French food prepared beautifully. Friendly service. Rodolf speaks English well enough to make ordering easy and a menu in English as well. Great experience all around.
a lovely gem of a restaurant.
