We were a party of 3 and shared 5 tapas starters and a dessert. It was more then enough. The food was delicious and fresh. The spices ratio was great, the staff was very pro-active in granting a nice dinner experience for their guests. Overall I recommend this restaurant.

The dishes were a bit bland and plain, not living up to the image the restaurant is trying to portray of itself.

Amazing food and very welcoming staff who made every effort to talk to us in English. The restaurant lighting was a little on the bright side and its minimalist style may not be to everyone's taste but if you want great food at a great price, this restaurant is for you...the steak was to die for!

We took the "menú de degustación" and enjoyed every part, even the bottle of "house wine", which was not at all bad.

la Era is a small restaurant that needs more attention from foodies! It was great for us because we got all the attention from the hostes. We had a tasting menu and it was great. Tuna, escalopes, heak, beef, chocolate and ice cream. It was all good. We are used to star quality dining and La Era has it all!

In brief: this was one of the most delicious, well composed and inspiring meals we have had for long - even if we are accustomed to excellent gastronomy. the price (for the tasting menu) was absolutely fair, and the service was as excellent as the food.

Four of us ona tour of Spain ate at La Era last night. We chose the prix fixe tasting menu at 55 Euros. The experience and food were exceptional. We shared four starters, two fish selections and two meat selections along with three glasses of wine per person. This was followed by a choice of desserts. The food was elegantly prepared, presented and served. Our server was incredibly helpful with meal and wine selections. There were also small surprises along the way (such as an opening sample of gazpacho. We could not have been more pleased with our culinary experience and would highly recommend La Era to fellow foodies.

About the restaurant

"Juan Carlos González and Miguel Espí met studying at the school of hospitality and tourism of Madrid. Together they lived diverse experiences in the kitchen, and after winning the 15th Prize of Gastronomy of Madrid they decided to undertake their own project: La Era restaurant.

It's a lovely intimate place, where from the dining room the kitchen can be seen given that transparency is the basis of work of its chefs, who seek to deliver "
