    La Bulle is a fantastic restaurant! After previously staying in this part of Paris I really wanted to find a french restaurant that was a little bit special to take my mum to for her 70th Birthday. The food was perfect, a great selection of courses that had a perfect balance between classic flavours and touches of innovation! I particularly loved my starter with bottarga slices which is a favourite ingredient of mine and the almost savoury desert with what I think was toasted rice and micro herbs (possibly rocket?!). My mum loved all her courses however particularly enjoyed the scallop dish- with large well cooked scallops and sautéed leeks! I am so glad I found this restaurant- it was perfect in every way. And I hope our wonderful waitress can forgive my difficulty sorting out my euro’s at the end of the night! I am afraid I perpetuated the stupid English tourist persona!!! ????‍♀️

    Not the warm atmosphere you find in a lot of French restaurants. Felt a little sterile and food was just ok. Steak was not that great.

    Overpriced. The bill came to 180 € for 3 people which we found on the high side. The fish dish was served lukewarm and the size of the portion did not merit the extra charge. On the positive side the wine recommendation was good and the service very friendly.

    The restaurant was almost empty when we were there - only 3 other tables - which was great because we got to have a nice table by the window, but that’s about my only positive comment. The server was so slow coming to see us to order and to pay the bill and the end despite there being barely anyone there, and the food was a HUGE disappointment. It was edible, but not delicious, and the types of meat used were very very French (cow pancreas, fois gras mi-cuit, and salmon eggs) - maybe I’m just not a cultured enough food lover to enjoy these types of foods but they were a struggle to eat. Then the desserts were nothing special, some very average flan and some very average chocolate cake with one scoop of ice cream that tasted like bitter herbs, and another that tasted like cold wasabi - they both lacked sweetness and had unpleasant icey textures, not like creamy ice cream.

    they did a good effort for the food, but for 60euros the menu, I was expecting much more! it was Just normal food, nothing gourmet, and very small portions. looong time to serve, restaurant full, not much privacy to talk. maybe because it was Valentine day? very deceiving experience for the price, overall.
