A great take on the bistro/braserrie with a contemporary feel. Service was attentive adn reassuring while the fodo was generally great, inclusing a lovely salad that was one of my favorite dishes during a two week trip in Europe.
Our dinner was absolutely phenomenal! The waitstaff was so nice and steered us in the right direction when ordering, but I'm sure the entire menu is delicious. We had the special, veal on the bone, and it was one of the best dishes I have ever had! Would definitely come back.
Amazing as always! Chose the new pigeon dish which was not only exciting in its use of flavours (golden beetroot, potatoes and olives) it was also superbly executed. Beautiful and varied deserts as well, and an excellent Montagny 1er cru. A special restaurant.
Always outstanding The roasted pigeon was perfect Need to bring back the creme caramel
Service and technique was tremendous!
An absolutely delicious meal with impeccable service.
Very enjoyable dinner and great service.
The oysters gratinees and both our main courses, Barbu and pot au feu du veau weren’t hot enough and we sent them back to the kitchen. The menu is small and therefore no room for error.
This was a truly French experience , a memorable meal. Thank you for this lovely meal!!
Waitress forgot the order - got fish - ordered steak, had to wait until the order was corrected. Steak had a lot of gristle, could not enjoy it. Everything else was good.
Cosy little bistro, small catalog but big on taste. Duck and sweetbread were excellent. Perfect finish with baba au rhum. Great service all around.
Relaxed and cozy atmosphere, outstanding meal and service. This was my second visit in 2 weeks.
We were seated as soon as we arrived and staff was very attentive - took drink orders and bringing bread with a delicious spread. Leeks with vinaigrette and hazelnuts were a great start, followed by rare steak with a large bowl of crispy fries. The meal ended with a baba au rhum which had lots of rum but was really tasty and satisfying. Staff members all spoke good English, and were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely eat here again.
Our favorite restaurant in Paris! Never disappoints...must have a res, small place so the staff and chef can keep the quality at a peak.
A very comfortable place for good food and wine, with attentive service.
Perfect execution of traditional dishes, each with a nice twist. Limited but very godd list of wines by theglass.
The wait staff were lovely and attentive but the food was a bit disappointing. We had read glowing reviews so had high expectations. We were given a free starter of leeks with hazelnuts and this dish was lovely. We also had bread with an herbed cheese with a ricotta/yogurt consistency that was also good. The steak had a nice sauce and the frites were good, but the meat itself was a bit stringy and tough. The hake was was well prepared but the accompanying pot of mussels was only so-so. They provided bread with which to have the soup/sauce of the mussels but the flavor was a bit bland so I did not want to finish it. The dessert was amazing - a lemon sorbet with olive oil and thyme and dark chocolate chips. I would come back for that! Wine was also good, but the steak and the accompaniment for the hake was disappointing.
A very small menu. The pot au feu was quite a small portion, and not particularly special. Hard to understand why this is such a popular restaurant.
Very smals restaurant and small menu but the food and service were delightful!
