Amazing small restaurant in Parioli neighbourhood. You will enjoy refined and tasty Naples cuisine in a cozy environment, Seafood is delicious and home-made babas are memorable. The host will make you feel at home.

Lovely little gem tucked away in the Parioli hills. Amazing food. We had the linguine scammaro... to die for. And the polpo con carciofi... WoW. Amazing simple napoletano good.

Creative cuisine based on fresh products. Excellent food and great atmosphere in a small and cozy restaurant with a friendly service by the owner. We were a group of 7, enough to fill half the place. The owner provided a personalized service, explaining in detail every dish on the menu which is updated every day. Best restaurant in Rome so far, we will come back for sure.

If you only go to one restaurant in Rome, make it L'Ortica. It is small - only 12 covers, and intimate and quirky. We were welcomed on arrival by the owner and presented with a complementary glass of Proseco followed by the hand written menu - in Italian. After ordering an amuse bouche was presented to us while we waited for our meal. The food was delicious and the dark chocolate and orange gelato dessert was to die for. This was one of the highlights of our visit.

The owner welcomed us as family and they treated us so. The restaurant is very small as it's only have three tables, but it's cozy and the decoration is highly eclectic and fun. He invited us to a free white wine bottle while we were waiting for the last person to arrive. The menu is written daily by hand for him (nice touch). The portions aren't huge but the taste is amazing. True napolitan food. I strongly recommend this place.
