Delicious! Sabroso! We went for my birthday and the food was divine. Everything each person ordered was amazingly delicious. The only negative was that we had to wait a while before our waitress would give us menus or take our orders (even by Madrid standards). I will be back to try more dishes!

Great restaurant. Downstairs has great decor and atmosphere although outside and upstairs not very inspiring. Don't let that put you off because the service and food was excellent. Price was good value at just under €60 for the 2 of us. John from uk

As we all expected, the food, atmosphere, and everything else were very nice. But most of all, we appreciated the service and the waiter. Since the most of the menu was quite new to most of us, we were a bit lost at the beginning but the waiter explained perfectly. Also, we had to wait around 10 mins longer at the bar for the table to be ready, and the bartender provide us drinks on the house meanwhile we were waiting at the bar. By the way, for your correct information, bibimbap is Korean not Japanese.

The food was great and the service staff are friendly. However, we waited long time for the dishes and we took almost 3 hours to finish our meal. And it was full in the restaurant. It seems that perhaps its still summer time and they are short of service and in the kitchen. In general, I enjoyed it and will return and I hope the service will be quicker.

About the restaurant

"Imagine a place whose cuisine is based on the origins of its owners Gohei and Stéphane, Japanese and French, respectively; later joined by two chefs, one from Ecuador and one from Spain... the combination is exotic, and if it's well balanced it's L'Artisan-Furansu Kitchen.

It is a small and cozy place located in the charming district of Las Letras de Madrid, with two floors and a young atmosphere that you'll love right from the start for its beautiful details and good taste.

L'Artisan-Furansu cuisine is contemporary and mixed, you see it in the Tempura sardines stuffed with umeboshi and basil, or in the spring chicken of corral teriyaki with vegetable brochette. In a globalized world, taste blends from several continents is interesting. Don't miss L'Artisan Furansu Kitchen."
