During our holidays in Paris we ate at L'Anvers du Décor. We were satisfied. Meat is fabulous. Suggested.

A lovely little restaurant, a great find and the food was one of the best restaurants we visited for those on a budget. A warm welcome by staff who spoke perfect english.

The staff at this cosy restaurant were friendly and helpful, and accommodated us without a reservation on a Friday night, with just a ~15 minute wait. We enjoyed it so much we went back again!

Great restaurant. All the food was outstanding. we had French onion soup and the egg poached in blue cheese for openers. had the salmon with potatoes au Groton and crème brûlée which was the best I’ve ever tasted. The service was exceptional. The waiter recommended a white wine that was really good - pouly fume. we really enjoyed it. Will go back again (:

We were taken to our which had a bank of 3 spotlights above it, as did all the other tables, this unfortunately killed the cosy atmosphere for me as they were extremely bright. The food was poor, the steak I had was very chewy and full of sinue, when they asked if the food was ok and I said the steak was chewy she just walked off. Best part of the meal was the 10 euro wine. Meal cost 100 euros but would only have been happy paying 50. Another expensive tourist trap.

From the recommendations we had expected a place that cared for the food served, but we should probably have guessed that the place was more there to serve the expectations from the many tourists for a varied selection of classical french dishes. This was clearly at the expense of quality. The Moules Mariniere had no taste, the fries were from a frost bag and the crepes were plastered in nutella and sauce with no apparant vision. The service was irreproachable, attentive and pleasent, my (and this is a rarity) complaint about the food was met with a deduction in the bill.

Great restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The duck confit was amazing. From staters to dessert, this was a fantastic meal. Definitely recommend.

We went to celebrate my daughter’s 8th birthday and it was the perfect place. A classic French bistro with a menu that offered options for all ages - and it all was delicious. The duck was outstanding and my American five-year old adored the frog legs (so that tells you how good it was)! Also, the staff was so welcoming and attentive. They remembered is was my daughter’s birthday and sang to her when they brought out dessert (being a cozy restaurant most other diners joined in, which just made the night for her).

Really dissappointing. Tripadvisor reviews were really good, but did not live up to the expectations. Something as simple as a cheeseburger they managed to mess up. And the entrecôte was way overcooked. The snails were good and we got the food quickly, but Maybe too quick?

The Restaurant is nice, but für tables are so close to each other that I kept touching the elbow of the woman next to me while eating. Food was okay but not the best quality. Service had poor english and did not unterstand my question about the food, altough I asked three times using different vocabulary. The toilet was awful!!

About the restaurant
