We have been eating at L'Absinthe since it opened more than 15 years ago. The quality of the food, the creatviity of the chef and the hospitality of the management are exceptional. We have never been disappointed.

Superb in every way. Beautifully fresh fish (dorade) perfectly cooked. Excellent steak béarnaise cooked exactly as ordered. Strongly recommend the Michel Rostang chocolate dessert with chartreuse.

Easily the best meal we had in Paris. The waiter was super helpful and friendly! The hot duck appetizer is amazing. Situated on a gorgeous little alleyway. Seriously amazing spot

I organised a family dinner. We were 6. We got a round table upstairs. This setting allowed to have one discussion all 6 of us so really good. Overall experience was great. 2 minor comments: We went there during the heat wave. The portions were a bit too big. In addition the restaurant regrouped all big tables upstairs which is a choice but results into a noisy atmosphere.

The artichoke flowers were excellent, really delicious. The mashed potatoes to die for.....However, my husband did not enjoy his steak We were a group of 6 so they seated us upstairs away from the crowd on the patio. Great restaurant if you choose the right dishes.

In summary a nice meal, although the wine served had a cork and some oily substance on top (asked to change). Service was ok but felt a bit transactional.
