The food is good quality, but the décor left a bit to be desired. The borscht and omroshka were tasty. The chicken cream dish was delicous. The berries on the Ukrainian cake were also quite tasty.

Nice Restaurant with good russian cuisine. Georgian Wine overpriced and of low quality. Live music.

This is my second visit to Kalinka, visited a year ago as well. The menu consists of very good and hearty Ukrainian food. They have a decent wine list as well. And you will not be able to beat the price. The host (possible owner) was very welcoming and helped explain the menu items, the waiter appropriately attentive. I had the Kiev and my partner had the veal liver. Both were accompanied with mashed potatoes and a small basic salad. We started with Borsch, which I grew up on as a kid. We left very full and happy and the bill was under 60 Euros (including water and wine).

I tried several Russian restaurants in Paris and I must say that Kalinka is by far the best one in terms of food quality, service and ambience. Highly recommended.

Almost empty but almost normal on a Monday evening. The cooking obviously home made took a while but it was worth the wait. The wine was good.
