Very high quality cooking. As good as a Michelin-starred restaurant. The duck with foie gras was perfectly prepared and the combination of salted and marinated anchovies was quite unique.

For starters, I had marinated anchovies on mashed potatoes that were excellent. As a main, the duckling with foie gras was good but not impressive.

Everything was very good. An heartwell welcom, very very good food as well for the starter then for the main course an the dessert. Service was very nice

Excellent bistro fare with a contemporary, Mediterranean edge. Service is friendly and professional, and the place has a nice, old-fashioned appeal with the hardwood floor and staircase and attractive arabesque molding from a previous incarnation as a Moroccan restaurant. Highly recommended!

OH MY GOD!! We died and went to Heaven. Every single morsel was a taste sensation. We couldn't fault Invictus. From start to finish everything was excellent, the service, the ambience and most of all the food. My tummy is rumbling as I write this. I would personally go back to Paris just to go here and probably will take my husband soon, Thanks for making our last night in Paris so special

Typical french restaurant with friendly and quick service. Fresh and tasty classic french dishes. Follow the recommendations, it’s worth it.

We spontaneously visited here on a Friday lunch time. Our server was welcoming and efficient. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The restaurant had a cosy, casual feel to it. Very nice!

The food is simply delicious. Even if you normally don't eat desserts, you'll eat one here because you'll want to lengthen the experience. Good atmosphere, good service, welcoming personnel. We recommend Invictus.

This restaurant was everything thing we were hoping it would be and more. From the wine pairing to the menu suggests all were fabulous. A great place for our first night in Paris. They set a high bar for the rest of the trip.

Best dinner yet in Paris. This will likely be the one most memorable. Oh that herring and potato appetizer. And best soufflé ever - truly it was.

About the restaurant

"AN ENTIRE POEM - Invictus, Christophe Chabanel's new restaurant in the 6th District, offers truly sensational cuisine. A vital impetus that the chef is pleased to share in his chic bistro with a name inspired by its last culinary adventure in South Africa.

BOLD MENU - Take the time to decipher, to desire these dishes prepared with masterly skill, such as lamb stew and red curry juice or the famous warm millefeuille with vanilla beans.

PARIS MONTPARNASSE - A stone's throw from the Jardin du Luxembourg and Tour Montparnasse, Invictus is recognizable by its brown facade treated as in the olden days. The dining room is bright and comfortable. And what if you also left it as an invincible?"
