We had the rice table. Our first one and we really enjoyed it. Quite a lot of food though. My favorite was the goat and chicken satay. I’ve never had goat before and it tasted great. Very tasty sauce on it.

Service was pleasant but food was inedible and it was too hot and cramped inside.

Group of six had a great meal. Lamb, shrimp, chicken, beef dishes all wonderful. Satay was excellent. Atmosphere very cozy in basement. Watch your head as you enter

For some reason, they thought I reserved for 5 people, when it was just for myself and my birthday celebrating girlfriend. Regardless, they still surprised us with a free birthday dessert! Full disclosure - my girlfriend is Indonesian. I came here because of the high rating on thefork and tripadvisor. The gambas were super yummy, and the rendang was flavorful but could have used a bit more slow cooking. The chicken satay was tender and hot with really nice homemade peanut sauce. While the food wasn't mind blowing, it was decent enough to satisfy the Indonesian palate. Not sure if we'd come back, considering how expensive the dishes were, and the fact that there are loads of good Indonesian tokos in Amsterdam, but the atmosphere and experience was worth it for the special occassion.

Really nice small Indonesian restaurant with excellent food in the city center. Rijsttafel is really good, we especially loved the gambas and the lam cotelets. Also the apetizers were great.

Wow. Excellent quite authentic Indonesian food. We spent some time on Bali last June and this food was equal to the excellent quality we got there. Very reasonable priced as well. Definitely a place to go back to for us!
